It’s real, but 7 days to God is untold lifetimes to us.
There are no gods. All religious text are preenlightenment fairy tales. You stopped believing in Santa Claus. Why you fear openning your eyes on the fact that all gods are the same fiction?
Yes, original sin is important in the narrative however, seeing as we are all under the shadow of that.
However, Christians should have greater concern for why the world was created, as opposed to how. You're good man, just put your faith in Christ Jesus.
Who writes the sacred texts?
>i believe god created everything
>but he couldnt possibly do it in 6 days, thats silly
>but he didnt create people, thats ridiculous
>radiometric dating tells me because of half life theory that assumes compositions rates have always stayed the same means stuff is millions of years old
guess its what you want to believe in op
Things like eating a fruit having something to do with sexual sin, possibility of Cain being Satan's son? Some deep doctrine teach that Satan has a literal seed. The flood was meant to destroy them, but then Canaan did something and Noah cursed him too. In any case, God didn't like the idea to give the devil a lot of credit, but there's a lot of deep stuff.
Genesis is the only worthwhile part of the entire bible. Genesis is a collection of ancient memories that were passed down through oral tradition. It tells the tale of the "big bang" and the creation of humans.
Genesis firmly takes a de-evolutionary stance, with the first humans living longer and having a closer connection to God, and then steadily de-evolving with each generation. Evolution only appears as fact in current year because "progress" is our religion; in current year we believe that we are constantly progressing, and that everything before us was inferior. Evolution and "progressivism" go hand in hand.
the Genesis Creation Story is just the Big Bamg Theory...
