I live near UCSB and I was looking around for a new place to live (I'm 31) and I'd find places with students that said they "like to have some parties" and figured oh I can handle that I like to have a beer and stay up late no prob and I went in this otherwise nice house that was comically destroyed. Hold up landlords are required to clean stoves where you live. That's retarded.
Our landlord checks every three months to make sure we are maintaining it appropriately if anything is broken it's up to him to get sorted, it took 9 months to get our driveway redone, it's almost like every landlord is different.
And all four I've had over my 8 years were useless landlords. Maybe you're different. But I doubt it
