I have a wife and a 7 month old son, so I am self isolating in a tent in our backyard for the next week. Quick timeline:
>Sunday night: felt generally unwell, no specific symptoms >Monday morning: headache, nausea, coughing >Monday afternoon: same, but with diarrhea >Monday night: same as above, shortness of breath as well, but I didnt tell wife. >Today: all of the above , and just a feeling of being unwell.
The best I can describe it is like being like a slop of mud. Slow, tiresome, and slothful.
I'm former military, so I'm fine with it. I dug a trench in the corner of our yard and I am literally shitting and pissing in it. My wife threw an extension cord across the yard, so I have xbox/netflix in the tent, as well as books, food and water.
Eating mostly Chef Boyardee on a propane grill, but she's making chicken and mac & cheese tonight; she'll leave it in a bowl outside the door for me.
I'm in Commiefornia (San Diego) so the weather isnt too bad.

Sorry to hear that friend. I have a sick wife and two small children, so I've been isolating for the last month. You should get tested, and so should your wife and son, because it's likely they already have it if you do too.
Good luck bro.. my coworker has it and I might have been exposed. I called and told them I didnt feel safe anymore and they just reduced my hours to nothing for the time being instead of making me quit. Day 3 of isolation here. Have food and provisions for at least 5 months and just got chickens and planted about 40 square feet of food crops. I'm pretty much ready for anything, but hope that I didnt contract the damn thing.. or if I did that I'm one of the 4/5 that have minimal symptoms.

One advice: HIGH-DOSES OF VITAMINE C If you are older (50+) get some vitamin D as well. If you are infected since you said you are positive, you need IV (intravein) of 24grs of vitamin C for 6 hours, everyday for 2 weeks, you will be healed after. As your physician to apply the vitamin C protocol.
Also your family, they need to get at least 5gr of vitamin C throughout the day, and up to 10grs. Your wife can even take 20 grs. All of that orally.
