Yeah, I don't understand the closing of public parks. They are closing literally everything except for grocery stores which the ONLY thing that is doing is creating a bottleneck for people to get infected through. I'm almost positive after this is over the "experts" many of the governors are listening to are PR people and not health officials.

Furthermore there are nearly half a dozen SCOTUS cases that rule towns/cities can NOT set up their own gun control regulations. You can even look at Burien, WA recently getting BTFO'd over their tax.

You're confusing why cities can't do this.
Cities can write their own gun regulation, they can't write their own gun regulation when the state has preemption in place meaning the state has control over gun regulation prohibiting cities from making any stricter regulation. There are no SCOTUS cases saying Cities can't pass laws like that.

The US was caught, through pure ignorance, flatfooted when it came to preparing or handling the outbreak of the virus. It started when the Intelligence Director learned of the corona outbreak in the US and instead of telling anyone he decided to keep the information secret for 2 weeks while he sold all his stock for 1.6 million dollars. Next it came from the president himself denying the virus was in the US, then later saying it wasn't a problem, then later calling it a hoax, then when it really broke out all over the US he claimed it was under control when it most certainly wasn't. Testing has been artificially limited because the CDC wouldn't approve of outside testing and the CDC's testing itself was botched out of pure negligence because they used the wrong coding for the virus such that the test couldn't tell the difference between a positive, negative or fucking water. Now there are tens of thousands of cases in the US largely undiscovered because testing has been so artificially short and tons of politicians still calling it a made up disease.
