Let me preface with by saying I appreciate the Trump bux and can't wait to get them.
That said, I don't know what this amount of money will do for anyone. I make 80k/year and my job is remote with no sign of going anywhere (knock on wood). While 1k for me is nice, it doesn't do a whole lot. It's just going to sit in my bank account.
On the other hand, someone living paycheck to paycheck who just lost their job as a waiter/server and has no foreseeable job in the near future. 1k isn't going to do anything for someone in that situation. They will probably go buy some designer handbag or piss the money away—and be in the same moneyless situation in 2 weeks.
