Not hoping. I seriously can't understand how someone can believe that a vaccine is possible at all.
This is first and foremost a corona virus. A handful of them ( among others) cause a common cold. Immunity to them is always short lived (around 3-6 months) so a person absolutely can catch a cold 2 times the same year from the same strain. Vaccines are simply teaching the body to recognize the virus, that's fine, but with corona virus any vaccine would be very short lived.
Another thing is that this is SAEScoV2, which shares 80% of its genetic material with the SARScoV from 2003 which means that the reinfection (that can happen with all corona viruses) has a nasty added bonus of ADE. It basically is a mechanism during which your own antibodies, that you developed to fight the virus for the first time attack your body instead when you are reinfected.
Please read about Dengue fever(it isn't a corona virus) but I find this to be easier understood by the people for some reason and it's a very similar mechanism.
