Honestly we just need a clear dividing line between childhood and adulthood. There needs to be a time when a father says to his son, 'You are a man now, your childhood is officially over, you are no longer allowed to be a child.'. That would do wonders.
Boomers with their magical ability to fuck everything up decided to end that. They say "We will treat you like an adult when you start acting like one.", but we never learn how to act like an adult because there is no one around to show us. Our parents are at work, our heroes are cartoons or athletes. Where the fuck are we supposed to pick it up. So a clear transition would at least help because if they start treating you like an adult than you will start picking it up. The ideal scenario would be not imprison kids in useless daycares and not refer to them as children well past their biological childhood.
