The good news is that corona isn’t that deadly in its current state. The bad news is that it is most certainly a biological weapon that is incredibly transmissible.

Ask yourself why else would world governments be going absolute apeshit about containing people when it isn’t very deadly? To reduce its chances of mutating into something worse.
My guess is that it was developed in the west to be used in a total-war scenario against the Chinese military, but it was smuggled out of a Canadian bio lab by double agent(s). Some lazy procedures helped the virus escape the lab in Wuhan, and since the virus was designed to target Chinese people, they have suffered the most deaths since its release.
