Back in '16 things were different. Conservatism was the new punk rock in the truest sense of the term. The MSM and the leftists were screeching about it, the entire apparatus of political correctness was against us, but it didn't matter. Know why?
Because they were uncool. The guys in MAGA hats were cool. Trump was cool. Conservatism was cool.
All those people being against it just enhanced the cool factor, because ultimately nothing is more rock n roll than pissing off the squares. And the squares surely were triggered by even the mention of the name Trump.
Now, flash foreward to 2020. Things are different. As time has moved on conservatism has become less and less cool. What was once an edgy fashionable thing has become the very thing it wanted to get away from. It's now fully populated by generic Fox News geezers, neocons, megachurch evangelicals. TPUSA is a perfect example of what I mean.
