Military DUI

But why? The military invests a shit ton of cash with on-base transport specifically for this reason. They even have the "give a battle buddy a ride" recommendation so that you don't have to depend on the base van.

Half the company would show up drunk the other half wouldn’t show up because their too drunk. Then towards 10-11 they started article 15ing everyone and forcing them to go to on post AA classes. Shit went down hill after like 09....you literally have two options 1. You stop drinking, completely so you never have this issue again or 2. You drink like you do now then get another DUI if your lucky or run over some retard running across the street and go to prison. It’s pretty simple to understand.

They will not kick you out because DUI. Also never go with a military lawyer if you can avoid it.

Having dealt with many article 15s and a court martial (DUI, cocaine, etc) in my company I think it appropriate that the Company Commander be allowed to summarily execute offenders. This would improve unit cohesion and morale.

I'm in a cop squadron, we've had 2 DUIs. One guy went form E5 to E3 and can't drive on base and the other guy just can't drive on base. Good luck dude you'll be fine.

You can get kicked out for a DUI but every DUI I've seen is still in.

Thanks, do you know if they do a diversion program for on base violations? The cops that booked me weren't too mean, and after talking to me decided I wasn't a total loss. Offered to bat for me and told me about the program

You have a stigma attached to you because if you don’t drink your a pussy (because marines), if you drink and get caught doing something your a fucking idiot(because marines) you need to understand that it’s a game and there are times to be a marine 110% fulltard mode and then there’s times where you need to be you. Obviously during duty hours your a Marine, outside of duty hours after COB it’s you time. You also have to figure out if your going to be a lifer or not. If you plan on retiring from the Corps then you need to literally unfuck yourself and focus on promotions and everything that involves showing the Corps that you’re ready for the next rank. If not then you need to find out wtf YOU want from your time in. No one can help you figure it out because it’s your life not theirs.

With that new Marine General you are out of the military unless you get very lucky and have your CO go to bat for you. Enjoy your bad conduct discharge, and jobless future.
