I've been married for twenty years, and enjoying each other's company is definitely most important. As you get older you have sex less frequently (if you have kids at least) because you are tired more often. As far as the looks go, I still find her very attractive even if she's older and has gained a few pounds. My looks have definitely taken the bigger hit. But she seems to still find me attractive. Sex is definitely important, and if we go to long .... You don't notice that you're cranky or anything, but after we've had sex after a long time without, you realize how it just makes everything easier to deal with, you're better able to put stuff in perspective. I met her at a starbucks in kelowna bc. I was there working, she was visiting family for the summer (she had just graduated). I was twenty, she was 18. It was 1996. She decided she ws in love. Her aunt and Uncle got her a visitor visa, and eventually gave her a job as a nanny (so work visa) so she could stay and pursue the relationship. They didnt really like me though (I was a young carpenter's apprentice at the time). Thought i was too "rough and tumble" for her. but she kicked and screamed about the whole thing, she was in love and threatened to run away! So her parents relented, and allowed her aunt and uncle to oversee our relationship. They all thought it would just fizzle out, but we married in June 1997.
She went to Ok collage in kelowna to get her nursing degree. Her aunt and Unlce owned a little winery, and when we got married our first house was a little three room "fruit pickers shack" in thier vineyard. I eventually got my ticket punched, and went on to start my own sub-contracting business (mainly doing contracts for my parent company, but got lots of side jobs as well). Now i have six employees. So i did okay by her i think.
I will tell you one thing. you wont might a "nice girl" in a bar!
