I guess Amahara ain't stupid. My bet is that he saw that this was his moment in the spotlight. A smart man can see that he is gonna get an anime, and knows that he could very easily become irrelevant in a few years. So best use those years of boost he got, to put out more chapters and hopefully get another season. If we go by pic related, then at the minimum, 8-10 more chapters are needed to make season 2 happen. If this ain't a fluke, and he has upped the speed of release, then 8-10 chapters are not that far away.
