I understand why the secret underground lab has to be a bunch of corridors and cables, but setting a fight inside there just makes the location and movement of everything kind of a mess. This was an issue with the Yakuza raid too.

Maybe its my extreme brain damage but I have no idea whats going on in these panels. So Endeavors attack on the nomu that impaled Mirko loosened the nomu’s grip on her allowing her to do her moon kick but after that the nomu regained his grip on her and threw her at Endeavor?

The only downside of double spreads is that they get kinda ruined in volume/tankobon format

It's not just you, these panels are pretty messy. The art is great but the paneling and choreography is all over the place, per usual.
I think it's more that Miruko managed to get a kick on the vat right before the nomu retracted its tentacles due to Endeavor's attack and flung her back.

Separating what Endeavor is doing by so many panels makes it seem kind of strange, but all of these are literally seconds. Even so, I find it hard to believe that time wasn't enough for him to carbonize the nomu's head. Or did the acid distract him? It's difficult to understand

It makes it easier to keep characters like Endeavor who could reach the Doc fast and/or carbonize just-woken-up nomu's instantly away from Shiggy as much as possible

While it's most likely convenience to create capeshit tension, it could be that the Doctor tried to overclock the system to rush the process.

Maybe Doc's trying to speedrun Shiggy.

Aizawas quirk didn't really work on Nomus, so it shouldn't work on Shiggy either and if it does, maybe Shiggy has really got AFO and just takes Aizawas quirk.
