The season started. What are the fujo oriented anime?
Also Number24 came back, it seems like it wasn't hit by production woes much despite the delay, and it looks mostly fine.

This airs today, yes? Looks cute.
So, it really was Ao no Fag after all.
I didn’t exactly follow the series, but how are those that were absolutely convinced there was 0 chance for a homo end feeling right now? The people saying the author was homophobic and such?
Really? Nice, I've been waiting for this.
Not sure, the threads that popped up were mostly rife with 1) people who were happy with the ending 2) people who read for the romance with Futaba and complained the ending made no sense. And the people in between.
Personally I did think the author was ankward with his wall of texts about coming out (going so far as to create a character just to justify homophobia, kinda). But I never said he was homophobic and I'm happy with the ending.
I just want touma and taichi porn now :(
I honestly think the ending was good but the way it happened i.e timeskip was just not good
I mean, there was no build up at all so it’s still shit
These threads are way too frequent.
There was, it was just very subtle and probably not enough. Like one user said in the threads it's one of the rare mangos where overanalyzing was the right amount of analyzing. But how many people do that when they read mango? I don't blame people for thinking it came out of the blue. Not to mention we've got volumes upon volumes of verbalization of Futaba's thoughts and feelings but somehow the moment it gets gay, nothing. Taichi's thoughts were hidden for several chapters. I understand that it makes the twist more effective but this was probably one of those stories where preparing a twist is less important than showing the stuff. Show Taichi's gay epiphany, the breakup, show the progress of his relationship with Touma post coming out. Even if it's through a fast montage and a few pages of snippets. Readers who didn't consider this ending kinda deserved that much to accept this course of events.
I never thought the author was actually homophobic. I think the ending is shit. Also there is already a thread.
I'm more excited for the Shouwa era (?) one. Hashihime and Rakugo left me hungry for the time period, too bad it seems no one is interested in it and it releasing so late will probably fuck people's interest.
By pretending it's shit in the other thread
>that size difference
Also this looks like it has the perfect recipe to be popular with fujo since there are already fanart of the black hair dude, but I expect Japan to still hate money and make it straight.
And it's going to become another Ao no flag general, just watch it.
Yeah. Please move the discussion.
>probably not enough
I don't know, I personally liked how subtle it was and that works with the way the ending is written. If you never considered the possibility of MC being bi, then I can't help but think you didn't pay attention enough.
>assuming making something explicit gay sells 100% of the times
>implying people aren't also looking forward to it for the genre and for the buddy cop style of story
Look, people don't have fujoshi in their mind 24/7 like you when writing a story that feature two dudes.
The art style certainly attracts them, but let's wait and see.
Well, I can say it the other way around. If you actually think he was written as bi, I can't help but consider the possibility that you are a delusional shipper who who deluding himself there was some groundwork based on the out of nowhere ending.
The faggot OP thought that making this thread 4 days after the previous one was a good idea, we are doomed.
lol who on earth would seriously suggest Kaito was homophobic after all the tolerance preaching he crammed into it? Even before he pulled that stunt with the ending it was pretty clear what he wanted people to take away from the story.
I don't like time skips as a rule, but in this case I can't see a way he could have moved Taichi's romantic position as far as he did without either a time skip or doubling/tripling the number of chapters.
No, because at this point canon has proved them correct. It's not overanalyzing something when that analysis turns out to point to exactly what ends up happening.
It hit bump limit, so now they will come here.
Yeah I agree, but did I consider that possibility because I'm a filthy fujo who read a lot of BL or because the mango hinted as such? I honestly can't tell. We do all see stuff through the prism of what we like and came to expect so I understand where the hetfags come from. I'd have to read it again to be sure but I don't feel like it.
The industry is stale and I can't think of an anime in recent years that pandered to fujo that made breakthrough.
Also it doesn't have to be 100% gay, my point was more about it being completely straight rather than ambitiously gay with some plausible deniability.
Post stupid screenshots from gay shows.
I'm not keeping up that discussion here, and you sound bitter over it anyway. I'm sorry you didn't see it coming, but I liked the way it was done.
>No, because at this point canon has proved them correct. It's not overanalyzing something when that analysis turns out to point to exactly what ends up happening.
People ship things regardless of clues, so I'm not sure what you are going on with this.
I'd say thinking the plot was going to end with him sticking with his girlfriend because MCs never decides to marry a guy isn't the same as noticing some authorial bait scattered around.
Learn to read then. I didn't say anything about shipping.
No one gives a shit, go back to that thread or twitter instead of shitting on every thread.
It's Taishou, I assume you're talking about the detective one.
>find the name Hirai Tarou extremely familiar
>realise it's Edogawa Rampo's real name
I feel like an idiot.
Fuck off out of the homo thread if you don't want to see people talk about gay shit.
No one gives a shit. Go back to your hole.
There is already a thread about it mongoloid. Also Ao no Fag is shit anyway.
Tough.
Kill yourself backseat mods. How about you manifest your distate for that discussion by changing the subject instead of calling out people and wasting a post on your bullshit? Discuss something else or leave.
>the usual backseat mod is once again crying and screaming because people mentioned something she doesn't like
Reminder to report.
>industry is stale
I don't think so. There's more anime than ever coming out nowadays. Look around.
I still don't agree with your point. There's an unhealthy obsession here with classifying shows as straight/ambiguous/pandering/bait etc. that hinders people's enjoyment.
>I don't think so. There's more anime than ever coming out nowadays. Look around.
kek, 90% of the season is isekai shit at this point.
But you may want to look at sales user if you think the industry is doing fine.
>she
Is this the main pronoun to use here?
Well in retrospect that's what made the mango interesting to people here. A lot of people thought they wouldn't have the balls to do it, me included.
Homo threads call women everyone whom they dislike while at the same time enjoy products written by women for women. Kinda funny really.
Sales are partially relevant since the productions get their money from streaming and merch.
Sure a big part of seasonal anime is average or mediocre, buy the industry is thriving.
>Well in retrospect that's what made the mango interesting to people here
How? Lol randum time skip ending is shit.
We are all sisters here!
Well we're all little girls here. If Yas Forums were honest the whole board would use it.
Neither did I, because when has it ever happened outside of Samurai Flamenco? And even that didn't go as far as having explicit, totally indisputable gay marriage. There are definitely little moments throughout where you'd have to wonder why Kaito drew them if he didn't intend people to speculate, but this is such an unheard-of development and mango in general is so full of bait that it's completely reasonable to assume it wouldn't go anywhere.
I can't wait until mods realize these are just general threads at this point.
>buy the industry is thriving.
>Committees eat all the money while everything sell like shit and animators are starved and half of the anime are outsource to China to animate LN garbage about people being transported in another world
>Barely anything over 13 episodes
>Barely anything any anime original
Exactly what I said. That there was a legit gay dude, and a possibility for a gay endgame in a jump manga. And that's the main reason why everybody here jumped on this mango.
IMAGINE THE SMELL
Didn't we had a homo thread a few days ago?
AND DON'T FUCKING START A- will you let go already? please?
Isn't it great? Capitalism.
>And that's the main reason why everybody here jumped on this mango.
What the fuck are you talking about? The manga is already over and 90% of the posts about it in the last year were nothing but "holy shit this sucks and it's going nowhere."
Is there an air date for The Titan's Bride?
Yes. 4 or 5 days ago.
But everyone is fresh of the Ao no Flag finale and will come here to shitpost.
>Didn't we had a homo thread a few days ago?
Not OP, but seasons started and I was interested in what people thought of the new shows.
But apparently everyone can't use the already existing thread to discuss their shit manga.
People will now claim otherwise since their gays (Taichi is bi, I guess) won . Kek.
Structure of the story, narrative, consistency... nothing matters.
And how is what you're describing mutually exclusive with my argument exactly? People don't complain about stuff they don't read. Most people don't anyways.
Then leave the thread if you don't like what it's discussing and have nothing to contribute except a continuation of your ongoing meltdown you've been having for the past two days.
is there any homo manga running rn? I've heard some good stuff about Our dreams at Dusk.
No.
I'm just glad this and the taisho detective one seem unaffected by the current situation in Japan. I worry about summer season and I hope they get their shit together so nothing else gets delayed.
>You
Who?
Please don't post during your first day on Yas Forums.
hana change, but it's shit.
HxH is pretty gay and technically running if you don't mind waiting for one chapter a year. I'm glad Togashi saved Jump with YYH, but he really abuses how much freedom they give him with his release schedule.
>playing oldfag.
Pathetic. But all you have left I guess.
Shimanami is less homo and more lgbt general. I found the homo part quite frustrating actually. It looks pretty though, but it also has a rushed ending because something happened to the publisher, I think.
It's too early to say the situation isn't going to fuck up the spring anime productions, iirc I've read that Re:Zero was delayed.
To be honest I expected the situation to get worse in the next weeks and months, but I don't want to go all Yas Forums.
>Shimanami is less homo and more lgbt general
I'm not the user you were responding to, but thanks for confirming you're just fishing, I guess.
This post is cringe.
