Monogatari

I'm not going to shit on Nishio because he's a perfectly decent writer, albeit with iffy tendencies, in a similar boat to Nasu. If you don't like Nasu that's your business but don't pretend there's a world of difference between the two when there isn't.
Either way, Tsukihime almost certainly provided strong inspiration for Kizu and Shinobu as a character, so be grateful.

Even if this is true Kiss shot is better than Arcueid. Arcueid literally lacks personality

Arc's character is pretty involved, arguably moreso than Shinobu/Kiss-Shot's, but you'd have to read the VN to know that.

Looks great, you just have shit taste

It looks better to me
Not trying to be contrarian, Shaft's version has a weird goblin face

I don't have vitriol. Arc is decent, however she's nothing more. In comparison to Shinobu she looks like complete trash and even suggesting that Arc is remotely in the same league as her is insulting Shinobu.

She always was ugly as hell.

There is an absolutely massive difference in both technical skill as well as their fundamental approach to writing stories. Nisio writes actual characters and uses the plot as a tool to explore different facets of them, which naturally ends up in interesting scenarios. Nasu writes a shitty outline of something a 12 year old playing with action figures would think is cool and then makes characters do whatever is necessary to fill that outline with no regards to consistency, occasionally getting stuck down "world building" holes while he writes out irrelevant stat sheets and comes up ridiculous magic systems that only exist to get thrown away and rarely actually match what happens in his story.

Shinobu isn't exactly a world-class character, I'm afraid. I wouldn't say either is amazingly written, but they suit their respective stories just fine, which is all they really need to do.

You seem overly focused on the most trivial part of Nasu's writing. I could do something similar for Nishio, pointing out his over-reliance on extremely banal dialogue that often tries to be witty but is largely puerile, his insistence on the subversion of narrative expectations at the expense of something actually worthwhile happening and utterly wasted characters who only exist to serve a small selection of the remaining cast (Katanagatari and Medaka Box spring to mind). We could go back and forth all day over why one writer is worse than the other or simply agree to disagree. I like Nishio's works and Nasu's works, neither are fantastic writers but both have their charms and high entertainment value as well as drastically different strengths and weaknesses, neither really edging one out over the other. And that's fine. You can act like comparing Nasu to Nishio is some kind of insult, but you're no one's fool but your own because neither is a good enough writer for that kind of assertion to hold any real merit.
And whether you like it or not, Nasu has influenced Nishio, so that alone gives value to Nasu's work if you hold any esteem for Nishio's.

lol loli vampires existed well before arc, not to mention doubt arc inspired shit for shinobu, as their characters are completely different other than hurr durr vampires, maybe if you cited touhou maybe
