He went all out because otherwise other countries would think he was a pushover and they would attack every trade caravan of the SKAOG travelling outside their territory as well as kidnap or kill every citizen of SKAOG going through their land. And most of Ainz's citizens are level 1 humans who can't defend themselves.

Speaking of talents, it it only humans that can have them? I don't think we have seen a single demihuman with one so far. From what I can tell, humans with talent are essentially the equivalent of Variant Humans from DnD and the talents are basically starting feats but better.

Could I get a citation for that? You keep mentioning that ZZ's talent is being lvl80 and that that is the strongest talent as stated by the book. That doesn't sound like a very useful talent compared to things like being able to use any magic item so I doubt that it's the "strongest".
