Full metal Alchemist 2006 is objectively superior to Brotherhood. Only manga hipsters disagree. Prove me wrong.
FMA
>hipsters
Any retarded shit can be dismissed just as easily you claim it.
>2006
Dead diary today OP was a retard.
How many times are we going to have this thread?
>t. asshurt hipster
Face it, judged on it's own merits, 2006 is better. And I find the sperging about 2006 ironic, because it was so good it's the entire reason the series is famous. Brotherhood was just a tacked on thing.

Forever, or until shitposter-kun dies.
I've only seen the old one because I am old and not usually into remakes, why do people claim one is better over the other though?
Watched both this month. I don't know dude I liked them both what are you even fighting for shouldn't you be glad you get to watch two good yet widely different adaptations of the same story ?
Because he's a dumb zoomer who cant even get the year right.
Well I mean, one inherently must be better than the other. But basically it boils down to people saying the new one is better because it follows the manga and nit pick the original to justify it. Versus people saying the original is better because of the more serious nature, emotional twists and storytelling.
I'm an anime-onlyCHAD and I disagree, but the series is mediocre at best so I don't really care
Zoomzooms prefer brotherhood, the original came out when they were 6.
Alright thanks.
You have to concede that though 2006 is better in alot of ways the ending ruined it from being undeniably better
Winry is best girl...better than dancer Rose and psycho path cpt.Eckhart..
..even after all their adventures they were home before sundown and until Shou Tuckers the giz a job turns his own daughter Nina and pet dog into a lion
why not both?
The ending didn't really bother me. The whole series was basically a tragedy. That they didn't really get a perfect happy ending fit.
GredLin a best
Watching shit before your time is fashionable, hence all the "le wrong generation" shit you see from zoomers. In any case, if OP was around when the show originally aired he wouldn't have been 3 years off, placing it in entirely the wrong era of anime.
OP is a retard, but a retard with good taste.
I hate both.
With all the points given in your post, wouldn’t that just mean the ‘06 version is better while Brotherhood is just a more faithful adaption to the manga? Objectively speaking of course.
This.
/thread
Yes, essentially.
Garbage thread for garbage series.
>Dead diary
Ironic
>Deathnote
good show
Imagine being this much of a gayboy contrarian.
Brotherhood was more about the war effort..the inventors finishing the rocket and capturing the great Homunculus ...I prefer concise movies to dragged out since i was years behind...but it was set against a romantic background and was more believable...entirely than the more childlike playtime theme of the 52 episode series
>2006
Is this a new hot meme? Like native isekai?
They was all like ten going out to play on their bikes coming in dropping their balls in the hallway and settling down to watch the show...it totally ties in with the ups and downs of childhood...
Only good post in thread
Changing the topic: which group is your fave group in FMA? For me its the Homus
I wanna cum inside of Juliet Douglas
That's why they watch it and claim it is a masterpiece, because it's old and they weren't there to live the moment
why do people get filtered by him so much? he's based
how is he still alive with half his head gone?
Just watched Brotherhood and loved it
I forget did that version ever explain where Gluttony came from?
Because It's edgy.
My mom liked Brotherhood
She did not like FMA2006
Case fucking closed, kid
Only the opening is good (because YUI).
I'm at ep 11 right now, having watched 2006 in the past. It's going way, way too quick. Having whole arcs in one episode.
For me, it's 2006 as well. Even though it's a long time ago.
More like HOMOS
It's at ep 13 or so Brotherhood gets good. They kind of zoomed though the first eps because 2003 already covered them and most people had already seen it
lel
I didn't like how they rushed the earlier chapters. Now theres two imperfect versions.
How does this end in the manga? Should I read it too if I've seen both adaptations?
it ends the same way as Brohood
>O my friends scattered throughout the country
Huh ok. thanks user
no problem user
Good question.
2006 was ok but 2004 was even better
I'm also someone who quite liked the ending, stuff thats bittersweet yet hopeful tends to resonate with pretty hard.
Personally I thought 2005 was the best one
You're all children. 1999 was clearly the best.
Boomers are autistic.
We're gonna keep getting threads like this 3 times a week until the end of time, the debate will never cease. And I could get behind it if it was mostly actual meaningful comparisons and discussions concerning the differences and merits between each show instead of the typical shit-flinging from both sides.
I bet you liked studio Gonzo's animes

Wrong. The canon material is superior in every way.
