no writer would be dumb enough to add something like this user
What is the worst trope in Shounen?
MC love interest is just a dependent, obessive, dumb girl with gigantic pair of tits
Like, why can’t the MC just actually be unrelated to the events? See how far he can push himself through his own actual discipline and determination, not because he’s motivated by his predecessors who carved their own path. It’s even worse when they use this as a big reveal.
>Moralfag MC can't get his hands dirty even when facing human scum.
>Rivals
I used to love this trope but they’re hardly ever done right. In the end it’s always making the MC look good or better than the rival no matter how they started out
>power of friendship
>missing dad is a legend
>orphan because of the bad guy
>being popular makes you evil
>op being a faggot even with quads
This bothers me, but you have to realize that there are only three alternatives:
1) the mc is shit-tier for most of the story
2) time skips
3) the mc already starts as a master who trained for 30 years, which means you don't get to use him as reader camera
Flashback during a fight. I don’t give a fuck who or what it is, I don’t want that shit now. I don’t hate flashbacks themselves but writers need to set up a different way to make me give a shit about the fucker about to die, or the MC who is about to bring out an asspull without proper foreshadowing
No there aren’t. The MC doesn’t have to be completely shit, he can still hold his own somehow (See MC from JJK). Also why do the antagonists have to be so much stronger immediately if the story is going to make the shitty MC who probably has a low status in society fight him? Why is the MC fighting if veterens struggle to win? It’s about logic during writing but authors want to rush and make their “iconic” showdowns as soon as they can
>MC whose only power is punch harder
>until the MC is given 6 extra creative powers that also punch harder
