>serious bits in that made it popular in the first place
S;G Hollywood Live Action remake
>S;G is easy to adapt
If it was done by the nips, yeah. It'll just look like any average J-drama
What's important is it appeases the Chinese market. America being portrayed as the badguys is a plus.
Oscar (Okabe) will still sexually harrass and call Christina a bitch, but the director will preface that he wanted him to say that to highlight sexism in science and the #metoo movement. They'll also put a trigger warning at the beginning of the movie, problem solved.
Darryl (Daru) is a typical overweight comic book nerd.
>Isn't that the appeal of S;G though
For me I just liked how there wasn't a pretentious "sad ending" and the MC was rewarded for fighting what felt like gods will
But technically in S;G everyone are bad guys.
Can't wait to see them replace all of the otaku culture references with American nerd culture. Bazinga!
Kurisu and Okabe's interactions and relationship is the anchor and bread/butter of S;G, not the time travel/scifi drama.
What about Tuturu, Luka, and Faris?
Remember when Okabe thought about raping Suzuha? Fun times.
