You are the pc in your simulation. However, everyone else isn't merely an npc; they go through their own separate simulations, and their personality matrix is updated in your simulation every night when they (and you) sleep.
We are collectively, and separately, in our own lab environments participating in a global test run for conciousness, to see if the human algorithm is ready to be launched into the galactic production environment.
More times than not, we can manage, but the core bugs (referred to as the seven deadly sins) have been failing the metrics necessary for launch approval. Our creator has been tirelessly tinkering to get our specs to approval standards, and not scrapping us, because the unprecedented capacity for innovation during "divine alignment" outcomes is too valuable to simply throw away.
Just chill out and act in the way you were programmed; you might be one or two nocturnal updates (i.e. dreams) from a condition sufficient for launch. If not, be calm in the knowledge that the author inexplicably archives each failed run, and will update and re-launch you once the algorithm is perfected.

yes, and the reason for this is that 'reality' is nothing but chaotic quanta. what we evolve to sense is what we see in front of us. this is why buddhists say that the source of all light is in the eye - without an observer this entity would be recognised by nobody and nothing as what we sense to be light. as such everything we sense is just what we've evolved to sense because it best suits us. sensing higher dimensions has been of no use to us, so while they exist we don't know it.
