Can we all agree that the one absolute essential purchase for the successful gentleman, the thing we should all have in mind as our ultimate goal, is a yacht?

I don't see the appeal unless I'm a literal billionaire who could use it for entertaining the global elite

>being on a boat with some bratty kids blasting shit black music
no thanks

Women are literal children

I like a nice mid-size boat I can sleep in. Yachts are for losers. I might buy one if Suterusu really 500x's like I think it will.

Stupid. Lets just say the entry level yacht is 1 million dollars. Now youre probably getting that yacht for some pussy unless you really like sailing.
So for $500 you can fuck a better looking prostitute, for $1000 you could fuck a 9/10. 1000000/500=2000 1000000/1000=1000.
Unless the yacht is going to bag you over hot 1000 bitches its not really worth it and thats not even considering most yachts cost more than a million dollars.

Except for some fucking reason we let them vote and be in charge of $300M portfolios.

Dude, yachts are a maintenance nightmare and people never use them as much as they think they will

If it flies, floats or fucks lease it

What these retards generally don't get it is that the real cost nightmare of yachts is not the buying price. It is maintenance, feeling up, eventually having a crew, some harbour places run 20k a month and up.
And if we're talking super yachts, with some it costs 1 million just to fill the tank.

Yeah no. If I wanted to burn money, I'd do it.

For impressing chicks, it's way too expensive, I can just rent high-end escorts for the money.

Basically for super yacht running costs, you have to be a Saudi Royal, a European captain of industry, or Jeff Bezos. You can forget about it.

I hate giving hookers lump sum payments. How do I lease or do no credit financing?

No when i am rich, I will spend 5 millions on the pilatus ngx

also a seaplane by Cessna or some tiwn otter and i would buy some island.

NO ROASTIES ONBOARD

>5 millions..

Just a guess. But I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you will never be rich Sanjay.

This. We (and by that I mean my dad) used to own a 27m (88ft for burgerfags) steel yacht with aluminum rails. Maintanance, big parts of which were removing rust from the aluminium rails cost around €100k a year.

Scrawny ass nigga needs to get on that leg press

No, what I want is my full blown workshop. For woodworking and cars.

Based SUTER samurai, how much have you acculumated bro

Would gladly own one if khad a few hundred million euros or more.

>removing rust from the aluminium rails
Aluminum doesn't rust.

>Yachts are for losers
based sour grapes retard

>5 millions on a flying coffin
lol

>Aluminum doesn't rust.

Galvanic Corrosion. Look it up. When Stainless steel (cathode) and aluminium (anode) are used together the aluminium deteriorates at a very fast rate. That's why I mentioned the boat itself being made of steel.

Summerdays on a yacht are just something else. You forget the world around you when you're cruising towards a marina accompanied by dolphins as the sun sets over the Mediterranean sea... :')

yep when the sun sets drowning migrants look a bit like dolphins

ive never owned a boat. why are they so expensive from a maintenance perspective? they seem relatively simple from a mechanical standpoint. rust, is that it?

>why are they so expensive from a maintenance perspective?

You can expect to pay around 10% of the purchase price in annual operating cost. Maintenance being a big part of the 10%.

>Cleaning in general
>Cleaning the underwater hull
>Engine, Drivetrain and Generator Service
>Wood care and repair
>Winches, fittings, other mechanical systems, for example cranes to lower your tenders into the water
>Paintwort like repainting, waxing, sealing, etc.

Shipyards are just pretty expensive. It is common for most yachts 20m and bigger to be at a shipyard for several months during winter in which costs tend to accumulate and then fuck you come springtime.

Yacht threads are the most simp shit ive seen on biz. Like find something to do with your money, inc. have kids. Sex without procreation is a larp

yup

Water is a bitch, sea-water is a salty bitch.

Legitimate question, have you ever actually been on a yacht? It's boring as FUCK. Literally only used to flex on poorfags and to bait thots.

>have you ever actually been on a yacht? It's boring as FUCK.

Yup. Exploring new bays, waterskiing, taking your Jetski for a spin, using your tender to go to the beach, having freshly caught fish for lunch, sitting at the bow with a cold beer enjoying freedom while driving into the sunset.... Fuck all that shit, I'll rather shitpost on Yas Forums!

Idk man the sterile environment of a yacht always makes me feel like I'm in some high tech prison. I would much rather have a sailboat.

Condoms are for simps
