Why didn't you work hard in high school and attend a top university for STEM Yas Forums? It's the easiest way to skyrocket yourself into at least the top 10% of income earners in the nation, if not the entire world. if you consider yourself so smart, why the fuck didn't you come join us?

By being in the top half of America you're already above like 90% of the human population in terms of money
Going to Yale lands you in jail
Hardvard so you can end up at walmart
Duke to get paid to scoop up school puke
keep going
Joined the military instead, fucked a bunch of hot bitches all over the world, used the GI bill to go to school for free, and bought LINK at 40 cents. Wouldn't change a thing.
I would change that horrible shirt you wore for your picture day, sam
>>Joined the military instead, fucked a bunch of hot bitches all over the world, used the GI bill to go to school for free, and bought LINK at 40 cents
This is my exact situation, except instead of buying LINK at 40 cents I bought btc at $6400
user i want to be you but corona is fucking up all my plans..... i hope i get to deploy and punish the ceo of corona...
Did this exact thing. I “deployed” to places like Japan and Thailand and just drank beers with bro’s while copping a paycheck. Got out and used my GI bill to go to school and quite literally MADE $30k a year off the living stipend and scholarship refunds. I used muh service to get a cushy desk job where I make six figs. Bought a house with my VA loan AND, get this, i cop a “disability” check every month because I laid my motorcycle down when I was in and hurt my knee (lol it’s fine).
Thanks for my service.
lol
>Talks shit about top STEM schools
>No Carnegie Mellon
ok
ok, that's an understandable reason. why not go to west point (no joke, i thought about it for a long time). if you're not braindead it's incredibly easy to be admitted, they pretend like it's hard as shit but it most definitely is not.
pretty sure the shrink that's being criticized is lying about her credentials. go to her website, she never mentions where she conducted her undergraduate education and i can't really seem to find any official record of her. with that being said, just because some crazy retard managed to get her way into cornell med and do a masters from MIT (i.e. she fucked up her phd) doesn't discount the fact that it's the easiest way to get rich. 1 crazy does not an argument make.
you're right. carnegie deserves a spot on the list. top tier CS school. i just used a random image i had saved from ages ago
>why not go to west point
They have age restrictions.
Plus the military aristocracy isnt very welcoming to us enlisted subhumans
yes, as i understand you must be 17-23 to commission. during high school i had the chance to check it out, it seems the enlisted really fucking despise the absolute shit out of officers, especially ringknockers, i did have the chance to talk t o a few priors who went to west point though, they seemed to like it fine.
I did
I dropped out of 10th grade and make $200k/yr in tech, have fun with your massive student loan debt idiots.
the "ha ha i dont get student loan debt hurrr" is such a cope from ivy/elite rejects lmao. first, the expected value of the degree far outweighs even going 400k into debt, e.g. an MIT CS degree. second, it only applies to the upper middle class. if your family makes
i went to a state school for free and then got a job from a connection. i ended up going to med school anyway after a couple years. i got accepted to one of the med schools in this image actually but didn't go there because it's expensive as fuck and not worth it
I did, I now get paid 120k to do ten hours of work a week.
Since you are a larping loser, you will never know what it feels like to get paid this much while shitposting.
Going to Yale for humanities grad school. Went to a Slac before and the drop in intelligence is palpable.
i never really looked into the med school route, but cornell med is free if you qualify for fin aid. if you don't, then you already have fuck you money. why not try cornell? what was the metric for your decision.
i'll write up a smart contract and verify i'm not larping to you in exchange for .5 eth lmao.
i can understand going to somewhere like carleton, amherst, williams, etc for undergraduate if your a humanities fag. i should've clarifiied in the op, but i primarily meant undergraduate education. in general the trend i see of people who go to cheap state schools and end up in elite institutions for graduate school, they tend to flounder and fucking despise it and never end up doing anything worthwile as they were always a step behind the curve in the first place and didn't game the system hard enough. the exact type of people who end up at HYP doing PhD's in literature or something AFTER they did their undergraduate at some random state school are the exact same people who don't have enough cunning and manipulation skill to make the degree work for them. being that i dont know where you went, you can decide for yourself if you fit in that category.
>also please note, even if you're not larping (which you are), you're the extreme, extreme minority and it worked out for you
it's true but i am just shitposting, i gave up my entire childhood to be in front of a stupid computer and waste day and night on IRC. I'd be pissed if my kids tried to follow in my footsteps
S.B. + M.B.A. = money-making machine no matter where you go
Same here, except I bought link for 1.00
I decided to attend a small private school for STEM instead so I could play sports and train to be a math teacher
I got kicked out almost instantly.
Im currently enlisted navy but I’m going to the naval academy, but you’re right, there is a stigmatism that the military academies as stupidly hard to get into, and enlisted do hate the fuck out of officers
>what was the metric for your decision.
cheap and good location. where you go to med school is pretty much irrelevant unless you want to do medical research (which i knew i didn't). the only ivy i applied to was dartmouth because i like nh but it would've been way too expensive. i decided to go to the biggest school in my home state because it's cheapest. can't even imagine having like 300k+ in student loans to pay off. i could've been completely debt free but i didn't let my parents pay for med school tuition
Because it's a meme.
Most will never get accepted because your parents are not lobbying/connected/ex students/old boys club
If you get in you are a diversity student.
If you somehow get in, then what? You become a top level wagecuck? Big deal. all that effort to be a better tier of wage cuck. Put the same effort into running your own business or if you must, graduating from a lesser school and then making your own business and skillset will be 100x as fruitful.
All it's good for is getting a job in some bank(its not 2000 anymore) and working 100 hour weeks with no life til 35 where you spend your money on some washed up roasties because you are most likely a social retard from all the working, and depend on your money and status to get laid now(which only attracts roasties looking to settle down) so you still lose.
Or, you spend your money on yourself but wasted your entire youth, and could et laid all the same even if you did it differently.
Basically the status is the only + and that only impresses roasties anyway. So you basically become a good little wagecuck beta, just the highest tier one.
those grapes must be sour as shit holy fuck. Literally no matter WHAT you study or do at these places, it will make you more bank than wherever you studied elsewhere and thats excluding the brilliant facilities, extemely generous financial aid, and networking. theres a reason a fuck ton of the best companies/startups have started there, founded by students who met at the universities
learn how to play the game and get admitted. if you werent accomplished enough
Didn't deny that sweetheart. You know what i said is true. Become a better wagecuck betabux.
Tell me, do you own your own company? are you a facebook or Amazon founder? You really should know about something called confirmation bias.
Besides, times have changed. This is the year of 2020. This is the age of if your white you aint right. You better hope you get diversity accepted or otherwise have ex students as parents.
These days, you are probably bashing your head against a wall to try get accepted at these institutions to become the best betabucks you can.
I'm sure stacies used up vagina flaps are glowing with envy to her girlfriends about how she landed a nice guy with money who went to HARVARD after she's done taking poor chads fuck from the military in her college days. They were never husband material anyway user, just hot sex, stop being so insecure teehee
They would have looked at my school (majority black)
and at my skin (white)
and my parent's salary
only to laugh at me. Why would I have wasted my brain cells on getting an A in English?
Nobody ever told me that in my state I could take college courses in high school for free.
I really hate the educational system.
Please be honest in your answer, are 'service' members just leaches without marketable skills?
i'm sorry user but it was in your control. nobody tells you these things, you have to go out in find them. i went to a majority black school as well (i am white), although my parents are firmly middle class. the difference is that it's not the "A" in English that matters, it's extensive accomplishment outside of the classroom. the A in English is the bare fucking minimum. you get your straight A's (which if you attended a majority black school should have been easy) and you either exceed in your schools extracurriculars, or you do a fuck ton of stuff independent of the school to show you actually did something with your time. then you write your essays which you spend hours on perfecting. it's not just "get A's", that's why flagship state schools exist for the drones that can grind in a classroom.
the elite educational system isn't looking for grades, that's the bare minimum. they're testing your ability to be someone who's worth something, which you showcase through writing prowess or achievements. it was never that easy user. you should've actually did something in high school, people had already been playing the game for years at that point.
i don't see a better way to wealth than shitcoin trading + spending a few years wage slaving for 250k+ a year, having some cash in the bank and some experience in the work force working at a top FAAMG tech company, before heading out and starting my own business. it is entirely possible and common to be accepted as a white kid if you're accomplished with good essays. it's not their fault you spent highschool playing smoking weed and beating off and not grinding for hours on debate or olympiads.
the strange stacy delusion you have only further solidifies your sour grapes
i spent a week there. i quite liked it. bancroft hall has fuckin rats tho. military academies are easy to get into if you can get straight B's and above a 28 ACT. if you're black, make it C's and a 24.
econlib.org
Imagine being so weak and stupid that you need to go skool like a fool to make money. Ngmi.
West Point and Annapolis impress me. Those schools do not.
I do and I'm about to graduate and I have no clue with what I'm going to with my life
Still not sure what I did wrong
>make $200k/yr in tech
How? I'm graduating and need to get a job
I have no debt at least because of financial aid and scholarships
>see of people who go to cheap state schools and end up in elite institutions for graduate school, they tend to flounder and fucking despise it
hahahaha that's so true, what school you go to OP? I'm in the top two rows also
Spent all of high school smoking pot and partying, barely pass because I refused to do any HW out of teenage edginess, go to community college and state school because parents are poor, gov pays for everything, graduate with no debt, 3 years later have a comfy 6 figure desk job
Really not hard if you have any brains, if you don't and you need your hand held + are dumb enough to pay hundreds of thousands for the privilege of that hand holding then Ivy is a great choice. Every second I spend around a trust fund idiot makes me want to off myself so I personally am glad I didn't go that route.
I make 140k base and feel the same
lol, I went to a free school and the same shit happened.
You go to those schools to meet people, not to get qualified, autist.
How come?
This is fairly true. Only 3% of the student body are straight, white males who aren't athletes or legacies. Many of the people here are complete idiots, doesn't mean they aren't bigger idiots at the pleb schools though.
>the elite educational system isn't looking for grades, that's the bare minimum. they're testing your ability to be someone who's worth something, which you showcase through writing prowess or achievements. it was never that easy user. you should've actually did something in high school, people had already been playing the game for years at that point.
OP understands the game. What career you gunning for?
I hate stuck up people and I hate schooling. So I went to the Merchant Marine Academy and make 6 figures for 8 months of work a year
>dumb enough to pay hundreds of thousands for the privilege of that hand holding then Ivy is a great choice
Big cope. I coomed in one of the daughters of the people in Trump's administration and met her father too. You will never experience this. I come from nothing and rich people think I'm not absolute scum because I'm a good looking white dude from an Ivy.
who cares you bootlicking faggot?
Oh I'm way too fucking dumb for STEM. God I loathe being a humanitiescuck
Im from europe and is there anything comparable here?
Also im a 22 years old neet and i cope with the fact that they dont really accept europeans, i mean they dont r-right?
How do I fix my life lads?
>bootlicking faggot?
HAHAHAHA COPE HARDER
you are nothing and will never be anything you dumb fuck neet
Lmao why would I give a fuck about any of that? I've sprayed seed in rich pussy and poor pussy and it's exactly the same. Only real difference is poor girls give better head. I make 6 figures without simpering about like a fucking lickspittle concerned with what rich people thing about me because I'm smart enough to make it without bending the knee. It's unfortunate for you that you couldn't, best of luck in your life of servitude, peasant
i did. fuck u.
and your list is filled with garbage liberal arts schools.
>dont really accept europeans, i mean they dont r-right?
They do but they are all usually children of top executives or government officials.
You're a 22 yo NEET, you are too old for this. Move on.
You're worth less than 7 figures AND don't have any social cache besides some creep incel inside jokes on a cameroonian mitten knitting forum
cope harder
yeah all those STEM meme degrees are gonna come real handy during a depression
I'm sure governments will happily let go of doctors, teachers and policemen, but how would society function without web developers and data analysts fucking lmao
I attended an unremarkable public school district in a smallish town in the midwest at a time before you could learn fundamental subjects on shit like khan academy. I ended up with a bullshit degree from a decent public university and after a stint in the military I went to law school. I now regret not studying a scientific or engineering field where I could build things and make real money. I'm now resigned to being a glorified jew and writing blogposts like this one on a Honduran shrimp husbandry database.
I can be fucking homeless, BUT I will always be american NOBILITY
>top level executives
Ah so their parents are actually funding my comfy monthly neetbucks due to rather massive taxes, so its a fair trade off I guess - I can also still enroll into a public university degree programme - also heavily subsided by taxes
>cope
There's a reason you keep using that word, isn't there? Did your $200,000 education teach touch on the concept of projection, or was curriculum focused solely on groveling like a dog for your old money superiors. From what I've seen from you it seems to have wholly consisted of the latter. Bark doggy, bark!
I got into Rice.
Yeah it's a pretty decent way to put yourself in a safe spot career wise. I see it as basically from there on you can only fail so hard.
That said, I wouldn't have done it had my old man not promised to support me and I blame no one if they weren't as fortunate.
>Did your $200,000 education teach touch on the concept of projection,
No because I didn't go to a shitty state school where I have to take crappy gen eds that teach that shit
HAHAHAHAHAHHA
C O P E
O

>doctors, teachers, police
One of these things is not like the other. Only dumb roasties become teachers, so they have sex with their students and teach Cultural Marxism. I hope Corona chan wipes out their pensions, so they end up becoming prostitutes.
I went, but didnt network and didnt even apply for a job once I graduated
What do you do now user? NEET?
Or USAFA. Free, you get paid while at it, perhaps even getting officer pay while you do your grad at a top civillian school, and it is considered Ivy League. Best deal.
It's really unfortunate for you that you're too fucking stupid to make it without paying hundreds of thousands for the privilege of "muh networking", it truly is, but you need to accept the mistakes you made. Lashing out like a petulant child on image boards won't make you feel any better.
Scurry along now, I do believe that an inbred bluebood needs his asshole licked and well, you wouldn't want to miss out on this networking opportunity, now would you?
well policemen are subhuman too, what I meant is these jobs are generally paid by the government and it would be absolute political suicide to start laying them off in favour of bailing out office wagies.
>the elite educational system isn't looking for grades, that's the bare minimum. they're testing your ability to be someone who's worth something, which you showcase through writing prowess or achievements. it was never that easy user. you should've actually did something in high school, people had already been playing the game for years at that point.
Decent advice that is wasted on this board. I had a very high GPA and ACT score and wondered why I never got into some of the higher-tier schools. When I started filling out applications they started asking for short answers regarding my extracurricular activities, personal accomplishments, and awards etc., and that's when it finally dawned on me.
Lets say I have STEM degrees (I'm getting a PhD in mathematical physics right now at a top 30 uni world wide, no I'm not an amerifag), how do I use this for maximum profit with minimum amount of ruining my life with wage cucking if academia doesn't end up working out for me.
My supervisor told me to go work in a bank but the hours and stress seem a bit fucked for that. How can I get a comfy salary on regular working hours and look to be working ~20 hour weeks later and still being set.
Ivy League schools are dens for social climbing pedophiles
>without paying hundreds of thousands for the privilege of "muh networking"
I'm going for free - seethe harder
I'll be sitting at the Bogdanoff's table when I'm 25 and you'll still be pissing in mountain dew bottles at 40 you pathetic fat fuck
>very high GPA and ACT score
This just buys you a lottery ticket user, at least you learned. Don't let your kids make the same mistake.
Data science cuck
>social climbing pedophiles
Yes
Yeah, made money via crypto stocks and gambling but nothing that will support me forever
STEM degrees are the entryway to high paying bugman wagecuck jobs, that's all they're good for and all they're designed for, you've spent 6 years studying in the field without realizing this?
Based, do you have your own place at least? How long since you graduated?
A little under a year and no, I could but that would be a waste of money. I have enough for a mortgage too but you need an income from a job to get the loan
Are those Unis actually really that good or is it just a place where you can make some significant connections?
Also how big are the salaries If you get a stem or econ degree there?
Is welcome on board topjob 120k$ tier or just a little better wagekek position
Smart move desu, are you tryna still get a job or you got other plans?
checked. but gi bill was socialism so you're disqualified
Military academies are not comparable to ivies unless you're thinking of Brown or Fordham. Enjoy your tour at Minot.
