Did this exact thing. I “deployed” to places like Japan and Thailand and just drank beers with bro’s while copping a paycheck. Got out and used my GI bill to go to school and quite literally MADE $30k a year off the living stipend and scholarship refunds. I used muh service to get a cushy desk job where I make six figs. Bought a house with my VA loan AND, get this, i cop a “disability” check every month because I laid my motorcycle down when I was in and hurt my knee (lol it’s fine).
