Who else panic bought a gun? There was a lot of nervous energy in the store when I went a week ago and the guns were disappearing off the displays as I was there. There were a couple panicked store clerks who said they are too busy to stop and answer any questions, I just have to pick out a gun and start the paper work. Also they weren't selling ammo because they didn't have enough except with a sale of a firearm. I bought a S&W M&P 9 Shield and Glock 19.

Thought about it but I'm too self conscious to have people judge me as "look at this guy panic buying a gun", especially when I've never owned or fired a gun other than a .22 when I was a kid

Same caliber, common ammo type, will get the job gun.
