What do theaters have to do to make you come regularly?

literally just open and not cancel their amc a list

Two things
1) sell decent snacks at reasonable prices
2) reduce or possibly remove the fucking commercials
Bonus points for branding with a hot iron anybody who keeps using their smartphone at full brightness angled perfectly to blind anybody behind them

It's Hollywood's fault. I walked out of Borat in 2006 and haven't been to a mainstream feature since. I've been to maybe 15 NTLive screencasts or films with an cast/crew Q&A but literally fuck going to see contemporary cinema when it is low quality and widely available for free. I think the only proper new-release films I saw in the last decade was Polanki's Venus in Fur and Mesrine. Both good. I'd go see a classic film. I've seen The Manxman and Nosferatu with piano accompaniment and that was v.good.

>stop your 3d bullshit that doesn't work and is uncomfortable to watch
didnt this stop years ago? at my local chain even movies that have a 3D version only have a small fraction of the available showings

Are you allowed to get you fuck on here?

>go to see kino with your Dad
>have to lie in bed next to eachother

cummy sheets

This is what independent cinemas are for.

Most big cities will have somewhere doing this. I have a cinema in Glasgow that is classic movies with themed weeks/events through the year.

-reasonable price
-show desirable/less available indie movies
