What do theaters have to do to make you come regularly?
What do theaters have to do to make you come regularly?
$10, not $20
Die
No one except me in the theater
Jerk me off.
Robert wears a thong and lets the butter drip down his abs onto my crablegs.
Show films worth watching. Have a classic movie night once a week on the lowest traffic day and I'll be there every week
be in my town
Movies that don't make me want to exterminate the human race.
A qt grill to jerk me off
based
>tfw my local chain used to do this but they stopped
ragin. they played good shit too like 2001 and gremlins
Well, being that I have a screen that can display decently with 35mm or whatever the fuck they're doing now? Never, ever coming back.
Zero Dark Thirty? Oh my god fuck off.. Some CIA agent that doesn't exist, but did exist for what like, over two hours? Then we see what was in the trailer after I stopped caring.
Fuck movie theaters.
Honestly, just start going to the first showing of the day.
My theater has an early bird discount on top of the matinee price for the first showing so the tickets are cheap, they just renovated the place last year with big ass leather seats, and even a big movie, opening weekend, will have mostly empty theaters at 9am on a Saturday. There might be 2 old people in the back row waiting to die, but otherwise I get an imax screen to myself.
> lower prices
> stop your 3d bullshit that doesn't work and is uncomfortable to watch
> starts showing movies that are genuinely more interesting than generic big budget studio movie
> reduce number of people you can shove in a room could be nice as well
Not charge me a monthly salary
Enforce no cells / talking / other bs and remove people for violating. What's the point of high fidelity if you can't experience it? Defeats the purpose.
Slash the prices of all their shit by like 75%
play rarer older genre films, preferably in 35, since every new movie these days is shit
What do theaters have to do to make you coom regularly?
literally just open and not cancel their amc a list
Two things
1) sell decent snacks at reasonable prices
2) reduce or possibly remove the fucking commercials
Bonus points for branding with a hot iron anybody who keeps using their smartphone at full brightness angled perfectly to blind anybody behind them
It's Hollywood's fault. I walked out of Borat in 2006 and haven't been to a mainstream feature since. I've been to maybe 15 NTLive screencasts or films with an cast/crew Q&A but literally fuck going to see contemporary cinema when it is low quality and widely available for free. I think the only proper new-release films I saw in the last decade was Polanki's Venus in Fur and Mesrine. Both good. I'd go see a classic film. I've seen The Manxman and Nosferatu with piano accompaniment and that was v.good.
>stop your 3d bullshit that doesn't work and is uncomfortable to watch
didnt this stop years ago? at my local chain even movies that have a 3D version only have a small fraction of the available showings
Are you allowed to get you fuck on here?
>go to see kino with your Dad
>have to lie in bed next to eachother
cummy sheets
This is what independent cinemas are for.
Most big cities will have somewhere doing this. I have a cinema in Glasgow that is classic movies with themed weeks/events through the year.
-reasonable price
-show desirable/less available indie movies
pure love the GFT m8
I want to see movies that aren't specifically made for people who don't like watching movies (capeshit).
i have theaters near me that do it but they've begun pivoting to newer movies and older stuff only if its some 4k remaster that the studio is trying to promote. some times those are good, like come and see, but they're mostly the entry level stuff everyone's seen.
This, if you live in or around any decent sized city look for a film preservation society.
>comfy seats as standard, none of this tiered bullshit
>charge RRP for snacks, popcorn etc not a 300% markup because fuck the customer
>some kind of higher priced 'elite' service/screenings aimed at customers who are willing to pay more to ensure the film isn't ruined by kids, manchildren or niggers chimping out
>minimize adverts to a reasonable amount and allow customers to know the entry time and literal start of the film time
>no 3D bullshit
>play classic movies when screens are otherwise empty and actually advertise them a little bit
