True Detective

He's right, I'm sorry, user.

Season 2 was my favorite. It had the better plot.

Both season 1-2 are just average stories boosted by star power though.

Season 3 is bad other than Dorff's performance.

>You know Ray, they say that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Well consider me the garbage man, because it doesn’t make a difference to me anymore.
>Caspere knew this.

Season 2 has a lot of gold. Farrell ripping into his fat ginger son constantly.

Vince Vaughn giving a solid performance.

McAdams being hot as fuck.

Say what you want about season 2 but frankposting is Yas Forums's finest meme

S2 is the best season

I wouldn't recommend it, but if you don't have anything else to watch, or you just like Colin Farrell/Vince Vaughn/Rachel McAdam's ass, it's decent. It's filled with early symbolism and references that make you think there's some sort of deep, interesting, well though out story at work (which S1 did a good job of), but in the end it's one of the most weak unsatisfying finales to a show I've ever seen, with all of the villains/culprits being the obvious villains/culprits from the start, the B-movie "women escape while the men die" cliche, and with all of the symbolism throughout earlier episodes being completely fucking irrelevant to the story. The only plot twist was that there was no plot twist.

Don't worry S3 isn't like that at all. It's very linear. There's a present timeline where the MC is old, and then only two other timelines that it cuts between from when he's like 30 and the other one he's like 50. That one guy who said you could tell it chronologically is an idiot, it has unreliable aspects that only make any sense if its the memory of the current version of the MC.

Frankposting genuinely made me laugh, especially when you read one to yourself in that dramatic Vince Vaughn delivery
