I was going to host a watch party for Howl's Moving Castle and Porco Rosso, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding a version of either movie that has Japanese VAs with English subs. All the versions I can find are either unsubbed, or English dubs. Is there a specific version that you would recommend for me to check out?

they're not *bad* but studio ghibli's english dubs are almost all big name actors and I just find it jarring and unpleasant to hear them

most of ghibli's dubs are at least passable, compared to most of the rest years ago that were downright unwatchable, just do the dubs.

I've only seen the one about the ghost bathhouse, so yesterday when user made a thread about it, I said I'd stream some that I hadn't seen if anyone wanted to watch them with me, and a couple of anons said they'd like to do that.
Then after I couldn't find a copy with jap VAs and eng subs, I made this thread.
