By giving all the sand snakes motorcycles, kuttes, pipelines, and Jackie Boys.

By leaving it unchanged from the books

By having them focus more on liberating Dorne from the 7 kingdoms rather than seeking revenge for faggot Oberyn who died in a fight he agreed to because he was showing off.

If they were actually making a political grab for the throne we could have had less little girls throwing whips around and more Machiavellian backstabbing, but that would require decent writers.

So basically they couldn't have saved it.

What’s up Michael bay

Two main ways,
>Have actually realistic combat and stakes
>Don't immediately forget about it afterwards
Dorne's biggest problem was that it felt completely pointless except to establish some dipshit sand snakes which is why it was so satisfying to see Euron BTFO of them

More nudity.

He pitched it but even the executes shut it down

at this point there was nothing to save - the plane was going down - best belly-land it in a field somewhere

Were D&D really that essential to GoT continuing? Couldn't they have just said "hey we wanna go work on other shit but you guys go ahead", like Lynch did with Twin Peaks when he went to make Wild at Heart? There are plenty of screenwriters and directors in Hollywood who would have loved that job and we could have had ten, twelve, even fourteen actually good seasons like GRRM wanted.

lol there was even a scene in s5e2 or s5e4 in which bronn straigh out says that this journey is stupid and and jaimie is all like k but we still have to do it, so D&D were clearly aware how dumb all this was and just chose to have fun with it.

they were too jelly to give GoT to somebody else, they likely considered it their own by then

>d&d quit after season 6
>"you'll never be able to replace us, you'll be begging us to come back!"
>someone competent is hired in their place
>Stannis revealed to not be dead, but in a state of self-imposed banishment after losing to Breanne
>Euron is a menacing general who has deep motivations and is playing everyone
>Littlefinger stays one step ahead of everyone and doesn't die like a bitch by being outsmarted by two teenage girls; instead he only dies due to an unexpected conflict that he was caught in the middle of
>Sansa or Arya killed
>Dorne actually exists
>Night King actually has a purpose
>Azor ahai is still referenced
>Cersei isn't killed in the final battle, but is taken prisoner where she demands a trial by combat and we get the true Cleganebowl
>After the hound beats the mountain, just like for Tyrion, Jaime attempts to sneak Cersei out but is intercepted by Tyrion who ends up killing Cersei and is in turn killed by Jaime who is in turn sentenced to death/sent to the night's watch
>Bran takes the throne reluctantly only in the wake of intense tragedy such that no one wants the throne
>Bran promises a reform to the executive and essentially creates a coalition between all the kingdoms such that they each keep their autonomy
/what could have been

I think this is quite true. It's impressive how childish they were openly, you can only imagine how much worse they were behind the scenes

>such that no one wants the throne
this is worse than D&D, somebody always wants it. the real blame for literally fucking everything is the obese cunt

*no one we care about*

They couldn't.

>show gets popular because of it's complicated story
>D&D dumb everything down because if they don't people might stop watching

HOW CAN YOU BE SO DUMB

Stannis was definitely given an off-screen death to leave an opening to being brought back the next season, the writers just didnt know what to do with him. I watched all those fan theory videos and theres just too many details in there to not be intentional, the writers just didnt know how to weave it all together, especially not knowing for sure how long the show was going to last. Which I suppose is fair. Like I remember there was some scene in Winterfell where Littlefinger was seen secretly giving some special coin to a girl and she runs off and it's just never mentioned again, although it was obviously supposed to be somehow important. The later seasons really could have been kino, fuck D&D.

I don't think there was any attention to bring stannis back.

Why else give him an off screen death? Hes still alive in the books isnt he? It was kinda clever, imply that hes dead but leave themselves the option.

why does rickon even exist?
