I think you're confusing Alyosha with Smerdyakov.

Smerdyakov, the bastard son of Fyodor Karamazov, was directly responsible for his father's murder.

Alyosha did not kill Fyodor. However, all three brothers are indirectly responsible for letting Smerdyakov have his way, especially Ivan and his theories.

dano would be great for rakitin. or even smerdyakov, but rakitin is better
