Original cut was over 3 hours, could have used a talented editor; there was a better story here leaning toward The Shining than is adequately explicated (no, normies don't know what Goetia is, Rabbi Ari). Aster is a slightly more engaging, less insufferable Aronfsky in the B-Horror art house-lite column. No usual suspects shenanigans going in in Midsommar at all btw (pic. related).
