/hmmm/ Dark Crystal

I spoke to my friend who studies film and new media, and she thinks that Netflix is trying to see where the market is going right now, and will probably make a decision about renewal before the summer. Apparently they consider renewal of shows in batches, and the next batch is considered pre-summer. I don't know how true this is, but thought I'd share it.

Now tell her to study something that isn't completely useless

dubs of hard truth

>make a decision about renewal before the summer
Christ, haven't we waited enough? Back in October someone supposedly in the know said they were waiting until after the holidays to make a decision. What's next, they'll decide after next Christmas? The next turn of the century? Fuck

She has a PhD and then left academia to make big money. She's fine.

Nah, it's my fault for sleeping in. I would have posted something if I decided to get up instead.
>If every SkekSis had a cult which would be the most powerful, or the largest?
For the first, So easily, seeing that he is top dog of all the Skeksis, everyone want to win his favour. For the second, maybe Ekt. She seems like a Skeksis that would allow anyone in as long as they worship her as the queen she is.
>How would each be in general?
Each of them like being a mixed between a personal fanclub and a personal militia/servants that would do their respective Skeksis bidding

So's would definitely by the largest and most important. Other than that, worshippers would probably be drawn to the skeksis whose job is closest to their own job/interest. I assume the cult would revolve around that too, but all versions of the cult involved blind devotion.

i was awake the whole time and watched it die
