i think structurally part 5 is strongest. The interplay between Giorno winning over each member of the squad and then including the backstory of each in turn. Very strong. Araki has not before or since used such a structural device.
But After Green Day/Oasis is all falls apart.

I don't understand the hate for 6 honestly. Its interesting and has some really cool ideas. It can get retarded though. The finale is amazing to me. I really want to see it put in motion and truly animated.

I'm an anime-pleb and I'm 10 episodes into Part 5 and wow I am really not feeling it.
All of the fun animation flourishes like the wacky colours, the [menacing] kanji, etc is completely absent and the plot is boring as fuck so far. Does it get better?

it was just stupid. jojo has always been stupid, but this time they try to play it even more serious than 5 and it's fucking retarded. overall still better than 5 because that one was plain boring till the end

People (anime onlies) LITERALLY only like because of the ebin maymays. Some of the fights were really good but that's about it. GioGio is the worst Jojo, Diavolo is the worst main villain, the plot takes itself seriously even though it's stupid as fuck, and it has the worst ending sequence by far out of any part. Before the anime came out Part 5 was a top contender for least liked part (in western circles at least, not sure how it was received in Japan).
