Parasite

I agree, but the praise it gets solely because of its social commentary has made me like it less than it probably deserves. I have no problems with any particular aspect of the movie, but the people who are in love with this and why they are make me cynical about liking it

You're as mentally unwell as the far left that you hate so much. Find balance in your life.

Because it is a very diverse movie.

The way it turns from comedy to a full drama was quite good

The ending makes no sense.

I've seen Parasite twice and finally watched The Lighthouse today and far preferred the latter. The political aspect of Parasite really made it stand out to critics but The Lighthouse felt more powerful as a film to me.

It's pretty basic. But it's a good movie. Praise was over the top because it's easily accessible and foreign.

>Watch the movie expecting class propaganda.
>End up hating the poor instead.
Anyone else feel this way?
The rich family did nothing wrong and they ended up completely destroyed, everything was a consequence of the poor family's cut-throat opportunism and overconfidence.
It was kind of frustrating to only get a sympathetic epilogue for the family that got what they deserved while completely ignoring the other family who were just victims of circumstance in the whole tragedy.
