Best 2000's kino?
For me it’s Bring it On
Honorable mention
where's her roller skates?
wew, hows her foot game lads?
I too want to fuck Eliza Dushku
The Lord of the rings
She’s just so perfect
Maybe it's because it's been so long and I don't remember, or maybe it's because I'm too blinded by my rose colored glasses, but didn't it seem like movies in the early/mid 00s were a lot less political, or at least didn't pull out all the stops to shove f*minist dogma so deep down our throats? It seemed like everybody was a lot less of an uppity cunt back then.
100%
Why didn't she ever go nude? Playboy would have been good.
In the early/mid 00s there still was an equilibrium of power, of sorts. The media and academia were already leaning heavily left and feminist. But the upper middle class and the general culture still tended to lean right-of-center Christian. Hence the Bush presidency, which was carried by the evangelical vote.
In the meantime however, the power of the old Christian right as irreversibly eroded. General culture has been conquered by the leftist media, so the people in charge of the media don't see any reason to hold back anymore. 20 years ago, they still were afraid of repelling too many viewers if they pushed their agenda too forcefully. Nowadays they feel comfortable to use entertainment as their feminist soapbox any chance they get, because the opposition has been diminished.
Why are french-canadians so beautiful?
9/11 ruined everything Literally everything from 2000 right before september 2001 was max comfy and it seemed like Americans were as care free as ever.
It's not your imagination. Things changed.
>Yas Forums turns an avril thread into a thread just talking about feminists
why
a republican is president I don't know how much more "in control of culture" you want
I must say there is something special about early 2000s aesthetic. This movie and its sequel exemplify this quite well.
Hollywood and the news have far more influence over culture than the President could hope for
Because most of the older guys here have fond memories of the 00s before things really went to shit. I remember liberals losing their minds over Avril's Hello Kitty video and said she was a racist.
Great movie, go watch it
she was a boy
he was a girl
Because shes quite sexually repressed based on blind items. And or a closet lesbian.
Liberals don't control society. Literally everybody hates them. The news hates them, the media hates them, the left hates them, the right hates them, unless you're just grouping left = liberals but the current news cycle of bashing literally any presidential candidate that isn't a centrist shows if anything the news still doesn't like liberals, and these are supposedly really democratically biased sources.
What a fucking fake-ass bitch.
I remember this being based as a kid
I want to lick Avril's tummy and pits and THEN I want to fill her womb up. :)
Based, redpilled, etc.
That video was kinda racist, but it didnt deserve the backlash it got. The song was utterly terrible though.
I remember all the hype
then it came out and nothing
I miss those historical epics from the 00s. They must've bombed since they stopped doing them
Firstly, control of the government is not the same as control of the culture. Secondly, he lost the popular vote by an unprecedented margin. While this is irrelevant for deciding who gets to be president, it gives you a glimpse of how the majority of the people feel about the president. Thirdly, Trump isn't even a traditional Republican. For instance, he has happily waved around a rainbow flag which would have been unthinkable for a Republican contender 20 years ago. Back in 2000 even Hillary was still openly opposed to gay marriage. Now the candidates of both parties will endorse positions which used to be talking points of the feminist left. And that's about what you should expect, because politics is downstream from culture. As the culture shifts increasingly left and feminist, so do politicians of all stripes.
Like what, the patriot?
I wanna put a baby in prime avril so bad Yas Forumsros
Even now she's super breedable.
Here's the thing though. It was super fucking popular IN JAPAN.
I literally (literally literally not metaphorically literally) cannot take the "it's racist" shit seriously when Japan itself was all about it.
Trump was one of the closest popular vote losses we've had...... John McCain and Mitt Romney both lost harder, and that was just the last couple elections... I don't know where you got that he lost the popular vote hard. Unless you meant the opposite. And no shit. Both him and Hillary weren't running on being true to their parties, they both ran on pandering to literally as many people as possible for votes and threw out traditional party policy.
Rachel Leigh Cook is so unfathomably hot sometimes I forget she's real
This is so fucking true. Why did she get out of acting? That twist in antitrust where she got diddled was kino
hey hey you you, you don't have a girlfriend
That is a fair point, although iirc Japan's view on race is not really as, er, black and white as the western one.
Pic mostly unrelated, but lesbian Avril is always related.
Funkino
And then I dont post the pic ffs.
Six Feet Under is an overlooked 2Kino show. It used to be up there with Sopranos, Shield and the like.
As yes, I forgot, we live under Juche and the supreme ruler decides all our cultural, dietary and fashion trends, spoilers mate, the man in the big white house doesn't control shit.
Yes, the people who consume the culture didn't vote him in. He just materialized there via visualization by space aliens. No shit he doesn't control the culture. The people who do elected him. The consumers control the culture, not the creators.
>the consumers control the culture
EleGIggle
it existed. but people weren't scared. people weren't obsessed. social media changed everything, there were always basket cases who went crazy over politics and shit, but eventually everyone started turning into those people.
2003 daredevil
Got my first handy in the theater seeing this a third time with a girl from school. I think I saw it five total times in theaters cause different friend groups kept going en mass and it was fun to just go
>the majority opinion determines the culture
read history
Yes. That's why these "woke" films tank at the box office and don't ever actually stay relevant in culture. I wouldn't expect a literal fucking twitchtard to understand though.
>that's why the highest grossing movies ever like avengers end game and the new star wars tanked
wow man, when did that happen?
How many dicks do you think she had to suck to get her first gig
The new star wars tanked. Endgame wasn't even woke at all either other than having niggers in it
It most certainly was a different time, all over the world. There was a sort of equilibrium. Everything was going relatively swell. Even after 9/11, all across the world people were buying bigger houses and bigger cars. The consumerist media reflected a world of mostly "fun". Progress was considered technological. Vidya started hitting that "cinematic" stage. Comics went widescreen. Everything felt sort of... "streamlined", I suppose.
>1 billion dollars is "tanking" now
>completely missed the shoe-horned girl power shit all over end game
wow it's like you're a dishonest retard or something
I want to fill her tummy.
the invicible
Yes. Barely going past the new normal of 1 bil which fucking AQUAMAN got is tanking. The girl power shit was literally a 15 second scene at the end. Entirely skippable. It's not woven into the plot. Captain Marvel gets her ass kicked anyways.
Eww she has Lyme disease
>kills thanos in two seconds
>gets her ass kicked
>hurr durr if you just skip all the propaganda the movie doesn't have any!
>1 billion? that's nothin'! another successful movie made 1 billion!
you're clearing pushing an agenda and you're not afraid to look retarded doing it
LOTR
Harry Potter
Star Wars prequels
Those are just rashes from climbing, notice how they are different in each pic.
Though she did have Lyme disease a couple of years ago and almost died from it.
She then started saying that God saved her and all that, and that's when she dropped the punk looks.
She even wears a crucifix necklace sometimes like in here.
based God saving our cuties
