would rather starve to death

iceland or finland

Sweden and Denmark look pretty based
Finland's nice
What the hell is Norway doing

Solid tie between Finland and Denmark, the others aren’t even close

also what is blubber?

Don't like fish and mutton
Denmark

Fatty tissue

Finland dish looks pretty good desu

Agreed, the rest looks like prison food

The danish one looks fine

I am sure they're all delicious if preppared by a world-renowed chef, but these particular dishes in the hands of commoners, I'd rather not eat.

Even though it looks reasonably apetizing, lutefisk just might be one of the Scandinavian dishes that a foreigner would find the most revolting.

Finnish (soumi) or danish, the other ones look like bachelor food or in the case of iceland, something that you found in the trash

Honestly everything
I wish to try nordic food so bad

Swedish one looks the best to me, truth be told.

My family are largely military officers or work in music and film with companies based in Northern Europe so I ended up eating a lot of Scandi food despite being a Mexican-White mutt in California.

Last meal was canned pickled herring from Germany, a boiled egg, Swedish meatballs, potato chunks, sour cream and lingonberry sauce and red vinegar cabbage from Poland also added hominy and lime juice for extra base carbs.

Growing up Mexican in LA near an Ikea and sexy Nordic expat women does weird shit to your palate. One of the times I'm genuinely glad for how racially mixed our city is.

I could do without the CCP Chink swarm tho.

Sweden
I like herring

This all looks good except the shark.

i really like mutton, so i problably would enjoy norway the most, but finland, iceland and the faroes are very intresting

>What the hell is Norway doing
It's mutton (usually a shoulder cut) and cabbage that's steeped for ~2,5 hours, served in its own broth as a sauce, with a side of potatoes.

Yeah, The swedes got the right ingrediense, but wierdly put together. I would agrue the Danes actually eat way more "pickled herrings" and serveral other kinds of herrings, as it is a common part of our lunch tradition of "open top sandwhiches": smørrebrød, enjoyed with beer and shots of snaps.

Gonna go with my boy Binland

Denmark and Finland, Sweden looks good too.

all looks fine to me. Btw how does shark taste like?

Sweden, I don't like meat.

Awful. I rather eat Surströmming.

Anything except the Swedish one might be interesting to eat. The Finnish one even looks appetizing

tho swedes overcooked their egg a bit and sour cream pickled herring combination seems odd to me

We eat that swedish food often at summer. New potatoes and herring. Boiled egg is an extra which we don't have
t. i'm not fennoswede

how different it is from pickled herring if prepared properly?

And not sour cream, but butter

Denmark > Norway > Finland > Sweden > Faroe > Iceland
