Inb4 a swede saying that it's actually a good thing when his countryman die

To be fair, there's a 50% chance by now that it'll be a nigger that dies

Swedish template responses to this:
>killing so many people was always the plan
>well actually now that so many people are dead, we have herd immunity so very few people will die. We caused so much death to prevent death
>well at least we didn't destroy our economy, just all our trading partners did and now we'll trade with ourselves and become a superpower

Sweden is whiter than australia, it's a 85% white country, 98% by US standars.

2000 is a very low number for a country which imposed close to no restrictions on its citizens.

applied to US population, it's already 80,000 people dead
also corona is only around stocholom and such, didnt reach the rest of the country
and sweden has a good healthcare system and a young population
and sweden doesnt have obese, not a lot.

>Close too no restrictions
They implemented almost all restrictions that everyone else did. They just did it later when they realized they fucked up

At this point I doubt there are actual Swedes left to die

posting in ebin cope thread

I love how all the brown people flee as I walk down the super market to grab my lunch.

>They implemented almost all restrictions that everyone else did
No they haven't. Sweden has had a consistent strategy from the very beginning. It's most countries which don't know what the fuck they're doing

Sweden has balanced this well keeping the country running while not letting the healthcare system collapse. This is how these restrictions should work. Some people unrionically are retarded if they think we're going to have restrictions and lockdown until we find a vaccine. It's not what these are about

Well no shit. Most people seem to think it's business as usual in Sweden. They have restrictions just not as harsh. You have to find the balance between not overwhelming the healthcare and keep economy going. Most countries such as mine can easily lift many restrictions, and we're having a mild lockdown. In most countries they're thinkin can they open stores, gyms etc. while they've been open all along here and we haven't had many cases.
Not every country need total lockdowns because countries are different.

>Start of the epidemic
>We won't close down anything, people are responsible enough
>11 March
>Okay now we're banning gatherings of 500+ people under threat of fines and prison
>24 March
Okay now we're restricting bars and restaurants to table service
>27 March
Okay now gatherings of 50+ people are banned too
>1 April
Now we're also banning visits to nursing homes and we're closing secondary schools and universities

And yet their healthcare system hasn't collapsed which is the point of these restrictions. Flattening the curve means exactly that. These lockdowns are not to eradicate the virus. We all will have a similar death rate it will just hit us later

Not collapsing your healthcare is the primary concern but having as death rate as low as possible is the secondary. Sweden has succeeded in the first but their per capita death rate is the 9th highest in the world. Claiming that everyone will reach this death rate is completely unfounded

>Claiming that everyone will reach this death rate is completely unfounded
It has ofc many different variables, but if the healthcare hasn't collapsed and everyone who needs the treatment gets it. This epidemic will just last longer here, but in the end similar amount of people will die. Here the health officials have pressured the government to lift restrictions because the virus is spreading too slowly

>but having as death rate as low as possible is the secondary
You're just delaying the inevitable by doing this

we have so high because we stick all of our old people in the same unhygienic place and didnt ban entry there till recently
it's no big loss anyway, swedes don't particularly care for the elderly

Northern Europe be like NOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T GO OUTSIDE YOU SHOULD BE IN YOUR HOUSE
Cringe. Sweden based.

It's not inevitable at all

Denmark, Finland or Norway ever had curfews or stay-at-home orders.

>ever
Never had*

Really? Wtf is happening in Swaden then.
Swaden cringe.

Immunity by May

South Korea has handled this way better than you.

Sweden never pressed the panic button and closed down all restaurants, pubs, hotels, elementary schools, kindergartens etc. instantly like the rest. They implemented measures more gradually and put more faith in their people being able to follow social distancing guidelines. They also kept their borders unregulated. Most places have since reopened in Denmark and Norway though so there are few differences now. Main difference being that Sweden bans gatherings of more than 50 people while Norway and Denmark go as low as 5 and 10. Also if you enter Denmark or Norway you have to quarantine for 14 days, no such thing in Sweden. The general population (not the infected obviously) has been free to go wherever whenever throughout this pandemic with the exception of regional restrictions (like what happened in Finland when they basically cut off the Helsinki region from the rest of the country for a few weeks). Obviously when so many places shut down many chose to spend more time at home though, but the same trend can be seen in Sweden.

Here's a pretty interesting chart from Apple Maps showing differences in mobility between countries who implemented curfews (or similar) and countries that had soft lockdowns and mostly relied on social distancing guidelines.
