What the fuck??? Some people in the US wear shoes in their houses?

We re purple

The rule is simple: you don't have to wear shoes if you're alone or with close family. You could wear crocs or any indoor shoe to prevent bringing in dirt.

If you're inviting people over, you SHOULD wear shoes. I don't want to see your feet. This includes extended family.

They all do. The map is wrong. Apparently americans might punch you if you tell them to take their shoes off before entering your home.

>in the home
Sounds so weird to me, i'm more uset to see "at home" instead

do.... paddies ... really?

I thought all of them did.

as a general rule, you don't wear shoes here, unless you need to move in and outside the house or you're having a party and need to clean the place afterwards anyway

Wearing shoes at home is disgusting

I walk barefoot in my house

Norway is accurate, nobody wears outdoor shoes inside their home here

how about washing your feet before you enter the house or wear socks lol

I wear socks in winter but in the summer I go barefoot.

clean your floors

I just wear slippers because unless you have underfloor heating this shit is cold as fuck

Accurate for the UK.

Terrible map that implies for Germany to be on the same level as the US. The only shoes Germans wear indoors are slippers, same as the Japanese.

wrong, unless you count flip flops as shoes

Where is the 'no shoes indoors and forces you to wear slippers' option?

We are at least purple. Everyone wears slippers/goes barefoot at home.

Do they really?

Extremely innacurate.
Never seem nor heard anyone using shoes indoor.
I wonder who the fuck made this

Epic.
I'd say it really depends. It's less to do with social conventions and more to do with comfort though. Generally if someone tells you to take your shoes off before entering their home, different people have different reactions. There's no universal anything in this country because our culture has been raped to death by internationalist bikes.

Nobody wears shoes indoors here idiot

>spain
>complaining about cold
YOU DON'T KNOW COLD NIGGER, come to the northern half of the US, most of canada, scandinavia, or Russia during the winter and freezes your feet frijoles

Ah yes, the communal cuck slipper.

Why isn't China, Korea, Turkey and Japan not dark red?

So you throw a party and everyone has their shoes off? I can respect that intimacy but it does seem odd to me.

Well yes, why would they walk around your house in shoes?

>one autistic fuck says he'd do a thing
>this is now reality
I grew up with friends whose households had a "no shoe in house" that and those that didn't and I never had a problem. I spend 95% of the time in my house without shoes on and if I do have something on my feet they're slippers/house shoes or flip flops/thongs (for those Australians that really should go to bed) unless I had shoes on and then suddenly had to go take a shit before I left (still take my shoes off because if you're shitting at home, you should be as comfortable as possible). The only people that get offended by that shit are boomers and literal tards that take it as a personal insult that you're saying they're dirty. It stems from that fun period between and after the world wars when Americans got completely fucked in the head by hollywood, television, etc.
