Oh no, not the fucking flu!
Just a flu bro.
still a nothingburger
Yeah, that looks like just a bad flu. I wish somebody would release the black death again so you can see what an actual apocalyptic disease looks like.
Black death wouldn't be an issue for modern society
But there's constantly cases of the black death in the US and sometimes Europe.
just herd immunity and it'll be fine lol
You get my point. The death rate for this disease is low if you're under 50. It isn't going to kill everyone, which is the impression you get if you watch the news.
>just get infected over and over again bro
it's becoming more and more obvious that exponentially more people have had this chink flu than the confirmed cases show thanks to random testing
because of this, it is more and more obvious that this shit is no where near deserving of the draconian responses
That's right. Sweden is the only country with the balls to do this though.
>It isn't going to kill everyone
No one is saying this disease will everyone, the fuck? No infectious diseases will. Doesn't mean millions of people won't die though.
>which is the impression you get if you watch the news.
Can you show me one new network that even remotely suggests this?
South Korea said that 2% of people can be reinfected (actually a reactivation), and that when it does reactivate the disease is much milder than the first time. Stop being a fucking fearmongering cowardly faggot.
Life under the rock must be comfy.
Piers Morgan freaking out every day on ITV.
>Doesn't mean millions of people won't die though.
Just let it happen. 90% if them would have died soon anyway.
>South Korea said that 2% of people can be reinfected (actually a reactivation)
No, they haven't had any confirmation on this yet. They don't know wether or not they were reinfected or reactivated.
what? it hasnt been growing at that rate
its been doubling every week or more in most countries
>90% if them would have died soon anyway.
No they wouldn't.
People in their 40-50s, sometimes even people in their 20-30s, can still get very ill from this disease and die if not treated, like your very own prime minister. But if there isn't a lockdown in place there wouldn't be enough medical staff and resources to go around to everyone meaning more younger people would die. For example in the Netherlands the average age of death is 80, but they only make up 3% of people who are in the ICU.

Lad, 3 million people are going without food in the UK alone. This lockdown is going to cause more death than this disease ever could have. Imagine the effects of the lockdowns in places like India or Africa.
They're pretty certain it was just stuff that was left in the body. Just google it.
Our PM is 55, overweight and had pneumonia as a child, meaning he is in the vulnerable population. You just like fearmongering. I am so sick of listening to cowards like you.
If you look at the deaths it's slowed down a bit over the last few weeks. Basically global deaths go up 50% every week and not 200-300% like before.
Test numbers have never and will never matter.
1.7 million cases was reached on April 11th. Growth has been slowed down by active policy measures.
LOL, how about antibiotic resistant black death?
We already have MRSA and superchlamidya.
>I am so sick of listening to cowards like you.
And we are tired of listening to porkies angry that their stock market melted like snow under the sun.
I bet some country has that sat in a biomedical lab for bioweapons research as well.
>They're pretty certain it was just stuff that was left in the body. Just google it.
I googled it and they don't know wether it was reactivated or reinfection.
>Our PM is overweight and had pneumonia as a child
65% of brits are overweight and pneumonia affects around 450 million people annually, meaning majority of people have had pneumonia sometime during their life.
Even if BD had much higher infection rate and no cure, modern knowledge would still help in containing it.

It's not like Black Death had high R0. It killed people over so many decades. You can basically just ignore it and it will go away if you know what it is.
I guess we will ever know the real number of deaths once this is all over and the numbers are analyzed looking back, maybe in a year.
I'm not a porky. I'm someone who has had to pay my Mum's rent and send my brother money so that he can actually afford to feed himself and his children. People like you who have income coming in are fine, but there are huge sections of society that are basically a few days away from starvation. Am I expected to pay for my Mum and my brother's family forever while you all hide in your homes? I'm still working because I'm a key worker but I can't afford to bail them out forever. I've already burned through a lot of my savings.
>meaning majority of people have had pneumonia sometime during their life.
Yes, mostly at the end of their life. It is called the old man's friend for a reason.
>65% of brits are overweight
Yes, but most aren't over 50. One risk factor doesn't mean death. It is a combination of factors that raise risk.
There was multiple black death outbreaks in America during the early 1900s and most of them only killed around ~100 people.
>They're pretty certain it was just stuff that was left in the body
No, they are sure antibody of covid19 can protect you for a very short time, herd immunity is not a solution.
You can believe what you want, but just to be sure, what degree have you ?
I won't lie saying I am a doctor or shit, I have a degree in IT, but seriously, I have done statistics and it's not just a flu.
They are distributing 42.000 urns for ashes of deceased people in only Wuhan, not even the Hubei region.
If you are baiting to get (you), then take it.
>No, they are sure antibody of covid19 can protect you for a very short time,
They have no idea how long immunity lasts.
>herd immunity is not a solution.
It is either herd immunity (through vaccine or infection) or it just becomes a seasonal disease like the flu. Pick your poison.
>You can believe what you want, but just to be sure, what degree have you ?
Politics and International Relations
>I have done statistics and it's not just a flu.
I did statistics and data analysis and it is not a disease we need to end civilisation over. Your fear is not a valid measure of risk.
>we need to end civilisation over
???
Some governments are reportedly planning on keeping lockdowns until next year. If they do that, then their civilisations will be over by then.
