ITT: All of Yas Forums is suddenly transported to an endless apartment building; the floors and of the building goes on endlessly, despite what the elevators tell you.
Some floors of the building are completely populated, some are barely and some are totally deserted; absolutely abandoned and with that, gunfire and ominous screams, some that don't sound particularly human. These apartments do have life in them, proven by the spent ammo shells and scratches on the walls. Do take caution through these floors.

I scavenge the place for a gun and ammo, I get materials to make a parachute, I jump out of the window with a parachute.

The op clearly said apartment building, therefore it would have flats/rooms which contain windows. a structure of pure concrete couldn't even exist if it were stacked like an apartment building, not to mention there's needs to be a way outside for the purpose of ventilation else everything would die.
