Why are foreigners allowed to own property in USA, when they aren't citizens of the USA? Citizenship should be a requirement for owning land in a foreign country. Period, end of story.

Because politicians are crooks. Property (land and housings) should only be owned by citizens!
incels shouldnt be citizens and be killed on sight.
How else are chinks going to hide their money and destroy local real estate markets?
I sympathize with you on that leaf. The Chinese are buying your entire country so I've heard.
Why would foreign companies build anything if they weren't allowed to own it? If you just stop and think about it for like 2 seconds you realize how unreasonable it is.
I own a farm in the US thanks to my grandpa. Never been there but it's mine.
It's not unreasonable, and they can rent if they feel so inclined.
What state? Do you sharecrop it?
nah fuck off. i prefer to sell my land to the highest bidder.
because thats socialist
It's not going to get any more true just because you keep repeating it like a loony.
>Citizenship should be a requirement for owning land in a foreign country
Nice
Globalized market to inflate the prices
Minnesota. And yes, a friend of mine lives there with his family. They pay me rent and take care of the place for me.
>I have no allegiance or pride in my country or it's people
And it shows leaf, it shows!
In what way?
You're not making any legitimate points either, friend.
Industries where the market has been relatively free has seen significant price drops (IT for instance). Compare that to highly regulated markets like housing which is a complete fucking train wreck. I don't get how people can look at that and come to the conclusion that it's somehow the fault of capitalism.
My family is from Minnesota. Beautiful place, harsh winters (maybe not for you though, living in Sweden and all). I'd recommend spending some summers there if you find the time. Stay away from the Somalis the Liberals imported though, they're turning it into Africa 2.0.
I gave you one. One from which a person of modest intelligence could trivially infer other examples. And I'm not going to waste my time trying to come up with more...easily understood examples on someone who has clearly already made up their mind.
Damn statists and their regulations. First they try to socialize medicine and now they want to socialize real estate. Americans rise up!
I'm gonna visit once this corona crap is over. I had a US vacation planned for 2020 but we all know how that went..
I've seen a lot of photos of the place and it does look beautiful.
only a jew would try to get a better deal from someone by appealing to nationalistic pride. i earned my money, bought my property and i'll sell to the highest bidder thanks. not some dipshit who thinks he deserves it for cheap just because he happens to be born in the same country as me.
Because muh money
Same logic can be applied for capital in general. Are you arguing for nationalisation of foreign assets?
>Why would foreign companies build anything if they weren't allowed to own it?
hat was your point correct? It is easily countered with the fact that companies/people still want American money, and the example of China, where foreigners are not allowed to own property in China, yet they rent from the government and hmmm wouldn't you know it, 85% of manufacturing is done there. Weird, huh? Do you have another point, or will you admit you have nothing?
based
You're already Asian, aren't you?
Nobody should be allowed to own property
How is this socialism? Anytime before the 21st century, allowing foreigners to buy large chunks of real estate and land would be considered a threat to national security.
>companies/people still want American money
This is where you are mistaken. Not an opinion upheld by everyone, or even a majority, so that different results happen than the ones generated from your expectations.
Not really applicable. But it does prove my point about how everything government touch turn to shit.
Are you purposely being daft? Do you know what an incentive structure is?
Americans are the largest owners of foreign property on the planet, not the Chinese.
This
>foreign companies don't want access to the largest consumer market on the planet
uhhhhhhh, no.
Yea, and it's wrong when we do it too.
>Are you purposely being daft?
No, just accidentally.
