Based or Cringe?
What happened to the grass?
Skyscraper are ugly. A symbol of sexual impotence.
Based
Very cringe.
Should demolish those ugly skyscrapers honestly.
Cringe, but only because they let all the grass die.
>hard long erect buildings are a symbol of sexual impotence
Very cringe.
Those stuffy old buildings should be demolished. It's not the 1800s anymore.
Compensation user.
Like when an old man buys a Ferrari to feel young again.
Very cringe. In Washington, buildings are not allowed to stand taller than the Capitol. This is how it should be.
Very Based, should become a multi-story car park
that sounds like bs to me
Looks like they put up some sort of gay monument in front of the pond. You should at least use a statue instead of a shitty block, you classless Brits.
"The Height of Buildings Act of 1910 was an Act of Congress passed by the 61st United States Congress on June 1, 1910 to limit the height of buildings in District of Columbia, amending the Height of Buildings Act of 1899. The new height restriction law was more comprehensive than the previous law, and generally restricts building heights along residential streets to 90 feet (27 m), and along commercial corridors to the width of the right-of-way of the street or avenue on which a building fronts, or a maximum of 130 feet (40 m), whichever is shorter.
This is actually much shorter than the Capitol, which is 288 feet tall.
Or like when someone buys a truck as a mean of transportation.
Why are trucks so popular in America btw?
all glass houses and skyscrapers look the same to me. only the americans built some unique ones when they first came up with it but that was it.
What do you think about soviet skyscraper
Soul
Soulless
The tallest buildings are almost always built right before a crash. London's days as the financial captiol of Europe are over, there's no way in hell the EU allows a jurisdiction it doesn't regulate to run it's financial markets. These are going to stand as vacant edifices of vanity and avarice.
Because America is spread out so we all need cars and we still reproduce unlike Euros so we need big cars to fit our kids in.
I've heard people in London start to call it "Warsaw-upon-Thames"
lol I remember this very funny joke, London's bankers are packing up and moving to Frankfurt any day soon!
>The Height of Buildings Act
Is legislating the height of buildings really a legitimate purpose of the state..? I bet the founding fathers would disagree.
>protestant
Cringe
The difference is that DC was meant to be nothing more than a government district, whereas London has both government facilities and is the economic hub for the UK
>we still reproduce
Without spics we're below replacement rate too. It really is "replacement" for us, I'm afraid.
Its capital, imagine being so yankified that you can't even use the right word
Only Asians build unique skyscrapers
Yes, they have been. I've seen a lot of Brits denying that it's been happening, but corporate property agents in Paris, Frankfurt in Dublin have been going gangbusters renting to British banks.
Your arrogance is delicious. I literally just took a contract to relocate an entire datacenter out of London. Thump your chest harder, I'm literally cashing in on it.
Capital = Letters, money, etc.
Capit*o*l = The seat of power in a country.
Though it never surprises me anymore how terrible at English the English are.
Look deeper into those headlines about hundreds of companies setting up offices in Europe, most will be employing a few members of staff as a token European presence
Literally wrong, it's not 'Capitol' city, you're literally making things up you little grub
not true, I can see the tallest building in DC (The Cairo) from my apartment
States can pretty much do what they like. Some states used to ban holding hands in public with a girl.
