the only real difference is our definition of freedom. Canadians believe in freedom from (poverty, war, slander, tyranny etc)
while Americans believe in freedom to (own property, firearms, speech, american dream, etc.)

Why is that even an issue? Most likely because Canada and US share the same licensing and numbering scheme.
