>Yas Forums went on at length about mutt suburbs forever
>no attention was ever paid to the even grimmer state of housing in the UK
What's the reason for this?

Pretty sure that picture is Belgium or the Netherlands or somewhere. Looks way too nice to be the UK.

no way

human beings can't live like that

What's the problem, faggot? Those houses look comfy, I would kill to have one instead of living with my parents or in a shitty commieblock

Such is life in the third world.

Are you trying to be funny or something? Is this le famed German humour? Most human beings on history and even now lived in far worse conditions.

commieblocks are infinitely more comfy than terraced houses

not at all. only with urbanisation and the industrial revolution do you get shit like that.

why are you seething so hard, jude?

looks cosy. i want to see the inside. it's interesting to me that there's 3 layers in such a small little building.

btw how come no one starts a lil potted garden in the front walled bit? council restrictions? pollution?

When you live that close together is it easy to hear your neighbors wife getting banged if she's a loud one? Seems like a good way to jack off until ejaculation and good to sleep.

You don't know shit

Because I have to be stuck at home with my retarded boomer parents for months, and even if I weren't, the housing situation here means that I have to waste most of my salary on an apartment if I don't want to live in a literal hole in the wall.

Yes, I have experienced it.

it's not like apartment walls bro that's two layers of brick and thick windows.

Yeah, I never understood the whole "durr hurr mcmansion a shit!" meme on here.

I've lived in a few of these homes and they're actually nice to grow up in.
I've lived in the city in apartments , condos and townhomes, too.
They were okay but the noise and lack of privacy is the deal breaker.
Also landlords will just raise the rent on you whenever they please. Wanna barbeque? we dont allow that here. Wanna build a table or something? no garage/workshop and even if we did offer a garage, you aren't allowed to do anything but park your car in it.
Wanna change the oil in your car or change a flat tire? Not allowed.
Oh look, my car was parked in the same spot for over 24 hours so I got towed and had to pay $280 to get it out.

Keep it. I'll take the "McMansion" every single time.
I hear nothing outside but birds, insects and wind, right now. The lawn is mowed, my smoker is prepped and ready, my truck is safely secured in the garage and I am happy.

i thought mcmansion referred to the architectural incoherence and trashiness

There is a difference between a "normal" american house like your pic and a McMansion

Why do so many continentals get triggered by terraced housing when you mostly live in flats? Do you feel lonely only having neighbours on each side instead of each side plus top and bottom?

What, you mean like drywall and plaster?
So what?
I dont prefer it but at least I can fix it and not have to become a bricklayer in the process.

Based. Fuck pretentious snowflakes and their trendy apartments.

>I hear nothing outside but birds, insects and wind, right now. The lawn is mowed, my smoker is prepped and ready, my truck is safely secured in the garage and I am happy.
I can sense your beer gut, shaded oakleys, buddweiser, and fox news blaring in the background. kys. suburbs are absolutely soulless monstrosities. fuck having the only transportation that is viable being a car.

This, I can't understand how ap*rtment dwellers who live like insects in concrete hives can look down on houses of any kind.

even the lawns look plastic

people lived in caves in italy until the second world war

You got the Oakleys right.
I like a good pair of Fuel Cells.

t. hipster urban rat living in a closet with no bathroom breathing exhaust fumes all day while listening to police sirens and gunshots in the background

>Also landlords will just raise the rent on you whenever they please

does this happen in america?

Just googled it

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Housing_in_Europe

Literally the majority of people in Germany live in a box in the sky with neighbours above them, neighbours on either side of them and no garden. Britain may be grim but Germany is dire.

Also,

>fox news blaring on the TV.

Notice the part where I said I was happy.
In my experience, people who blare 24 hr news networks on their TV all day and night are typically not happy and looking for even more shit to be unhappy about.

It happens everywhere. Each year, the monthly rent prices here rise by 25$.

This is Scotland and these buildings were destroyed years ago
