Probably happening everywhere, I don't think there are accurate statistics for any pandemic once the numbers get big enough, they can only really be trusted if the outbreak was contained and each case was logged like with SARS/Nipah etc

Our statistics could be better than they are now if people really gave a shit, I reckon. Private health providers have basically accepted a bunch of people will die and decided to not bother investing a cent to reduce the numbers, as to not impact their bottom line.
On a side note, a fight between a bunch of bigans has just broken out right near me because the bogans around here think social distancing means gathering together and taking meth with their deadhead mates. Why can't these cunts die? No one would miss them.
