Hey guys I have experience from Israel and I would be interested in your opinion about it.
We were in cheap hotel in Jerusalem, but the last night 2-3 rooms next to us were occupied by group of young male jews. They did not speak a single word in eng and were really loud and rude. When they saw my gf they just all went silent, their jaws dropped and starred at her like if they saw woman for the first time. They were extremely loud until 5a.m., smashing doors, screaming and watching some old action movies on really high volume. When I told them to lower the volume at about 3a.m., they did it for like 5 mins and then turned it back on. I never saw such backward savages in my life and I am still courious what they were. Is it possible that they were buch of redneck friends visiting Jerusalem, or (next day was the election, I saw many young people with banners in the city) some candidate supporters?

And they're probably just some of the dumb religious kids there's plenty of that in Jerusalem it's not somewhere you should stay in long term

Cheap planetickets to ben gurion’s and it is easy to go to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem by train. We also visited Masada which was cool.

i mean i had a trip there in the army and in HS and it was nice seeing the old city, some historical sites and the knesset
my favorite part was stuff like ammunition hill or seeing the declaration of independence in person.

Tel Aviv, because of the sea and I liked Florentina. But it was too expensive for us to go out to the clubs.(did not even buy cigarettetes the whole trip and ate bread and hummus only as Im poor student) In Jerusalem I was uncomfortable around orthodox jews. Met one that was kind man, but with the rest I felt like they despise me for not being jew. I liked that both cities are not tourist oriented like most of european capitals and that you preserve the culture, like the markets. In Prague such markets would be full of tourist overpriced crap and local would not buy anything there.

They kind of do that, tourist guides make deals with shops that they sell stuff for let's say 20% more if the guides brings his tourists there then the ships give the guide 15% out of the 20%.

israel is disgustingly expensive especial the center and tourist baits, you really shouldnt have gone here as a student theres many better destinations for cheap tourism

That is understandable, I also got ripped off the first time I bought food there, but when you haggle and discuss the price beforehand it was cheaper than supermarket. Also the products are authentic and locals shop there too. In Prague these markets are owned by russians and they sell ushankas and matrioshkas to dumb anglo tourists that think that Prague is in russia somewhere.
