>only 30k more
644k-30k equals 614k
30/614 = a 4.88% increase

(yawn)

it wont end anytime soon in the usa,its still the tip of the iceberg

it seem to calm down a bit here tho, infection numbers are dropping, but death rate is still swinging
i guess its when ever a pensioner home gets hit

You need to get sick first and then after a while you may die.
The curve of deaths should follow the curve of infections, scaled down and displaced by a few days.

>capped at 100k tests per day
>state governors begging for more tests because they don't have enough
>"heh, only 30k a day"

Do Americans...?

we do 150k tests a day you silly zoomer

dont worry their worst korean allies (slaves) sent them 30k test kits per week

not necessary, it will kill mostly already weak/old/sick people and that is related to how widespread it is
most people who get it will be just fine to the point that they dont even realize that they were infected
but if it gets in a place where already vulnerable people are, pensioner homes, hospitals, .. there will be dead people

Makes sense. The South Kroean tests are some of the bests. The American tests only works 66% of the time. Literally dog shit tests.

Just look at the slope of that curve.

silly zoomer that's just wrong
if 40,000,000 people are in California
and 1% get tested, that is 400,000 people
if 20,000 get a false negative, that is only 5%

silly zoomer

Here in Ohio, we're actually in our plateau and will be trending down soon.
But to be fair, we were the first to act so we're likely the least fucked state in the country outside of the "no one lives here" states.
We're project to have fewer than 500 deaths out of a state of 11.7 million people

>daily 9/11s happening now
wew

The USA just had 2482 deaths yesterday? Isn't that the new record? Holy fuck brehs, we're all going to die.

Yes, but the number of deaths still depends on the number of infected.
The scaling-down may not be linear, but the more infected, the more deaths there will be. And the deaths follow a few days later, so the general shape of the curve should be somewhat similar (and scaled), but displaced on the time axis.

if anything that is only showcasing the rocky road that lays ahead of you

Americans were bragging about "low" deaths (slightly below 2,000) because it was the holiday weekend. Numbers will keep rising and dip slightly for the weekend.

source?

The horror, pretty soon our nursing homes will only be 75% full

Should include San Marino and Andorra deaths too since Luxembourg's 500k population is included there as well LMAO

New York deaths per million: 591

when will Germany open its borders again?
I had a Working Holiday Visa valid for the exact day you closed your borders lol fml...

Why the fuck is the area around her eyes so dark?

>going for a smaller sample size of a city rather than a bigger one of the country
hmmmmmmmmmm

look at germanys numbers, the number of (detacted) infected is going down, and there is lots of testing so its kinda representative
the numbers of death on the other hand not, it was lower the past weeks

There's nothing wrong with comparing a state to a country. You could compare EU with the USA.

>compare a 330 million country to 20-60 million countries
>NY: ~20m pop is a small sample

Don't bother arguing. He thinks NY is listed as a city when it's a state. And the state has a larger population than half the country he listed.

Look at his post, do you know what per capita means?

really dude...

Yes really
