What are you learning?
What are you learning?
>learning Portuguese
Fuck off, we are full.
Tried to learn italian (I actually need to) but just dropped it after a while
There's little motivation and interest, it's fucked
I'm learning Spanish
Estoy aprendiendo español
What if I want to find love in Sao Paulo?
her dick would be bigger than yours
The largest Japanese population outside Japan is in São Paulo, you don't need to learn Portuguese for that.
I'm learning Russian
How's the Spanish course? I have a few friends who want to learn Spanish, and I don't know whether or not to recommend it to them. I have one friend who started taking it and asked me a few questions (I'm fluent), but she stopped.
It's okay I guess. I view Duolingo more like a game than actually studying. I am using it in conjunction with a textbook as well: Margarita Madrigals Magic Key to Spanish. I also have Assimil Spanish with Ease.
those japs been living in brazil for generations and generations, most of them can't speak japanese.
But they like to larp as truly samurais. Yes, it's very cringe.
I've tried english but it was too easy and I got bored so I've tried German but it was too hard and I simply gave up. I'm too lazy to do it alone. I need someone who force me to do it but I never had someone like that in my life. I will regret it but I'm too lazy to care about it now
The solution for you is finding a german gf, that will become into your motivation. Thats gonna move you to learn.
How to get a german gf? Try visiting culturepals. It is pretty easy finding people there.
Sounds based to me
I don't want to learn German, I was bored. I don't think it's worth the hassle to learn it, I rather learn French 2bh
Chinese
Japanese so I can visit my ancestral home
Always.
Based
i know that feel bro
i think we're the only 2 cunts on this earth to get cucked like this
I have no motivation to learn another language. Tried Spanish but Spanish media is just worse than English in every aspect. I really don't see any reason to learn a language beyond English when English has more, better news, media of just everything
Japanese has great media and pretty thought-provoking journalism. If you're willing to put in the effort, it's definitely worth it imo.
Mandarin Chinese
日本語
>I've tried English
But you're speaking great English already
Spanish-language journalism is a joke, but there is some very good Spanish-language film if you look for it. Latin America produces a lot of pure shit movies just like the US, but there is definitely some quality material out there. There's also some good Spanish literature that loses its tone when translated into English. I'm reading a García Márquez novel right now, and I was discussing with a friend about how the entire tone changes when translated into English because English lacks the subtlety that Spanish can accomplish.
Can you elaborate on the finding a German gf on culturepals part, Argiebro? I want to learn German too.
Same as me but with Dutch
deutsch
it has its charm
It’s not worth it unless you want to live here most Dutch media sucks also it’s notoriously hard for expats to get experience with it as they will hear your accent and talk to you in English
My fiance is Dutch and I'm moving so I'd feel like an asshole if I didn't at least try to assimilate. Plus they're from up norf near Groningen and they have less of that automatic English, apparently. But learning is a constant drag frankly and I need a decent book kinda like Genki but Dutch.
