I read a book about WWI which argued, unironically, that Germany was always destined to dominate Europe. If USA/UK had stepped away from WWI and let the Germans win, then we could have skipped WWII and saved lives, and ended up with the same bland German-dominated Europe we see today without any big mess in the middle.

Sudeten Germans could've stayed in Czechoslovakia, they were Czechoslovak citizens and Czechoslovakia was a decent state, certainly better than Nazi Germany
unlike Baltic Germans who were only a tiny minority Sudeten Germans formed a majority in homogenous areas, plus relocating them wasn't necessary if you weren't a retard obsessed with nationalism like the Nazis

You probably read a history book written by an American who were and still are ardent germanophiles. Germany is a big country in the middle of Europe so it would always be a major player but the problem with Germany's geography is that is bordered by two powerful nations on it's eastern and western borders; Russia and France. Add a bit of jingoism and turbo autism and you have a recipe for disaster.

That's true, but the fact that a lot of them collaborated with the nazis and the tensions that existed between czechs and germans gives me impression that German and Czechs relations would have been rocky, especially with the Nazi government. I think relocating would have soften the tensions, especially if it were an initiative from the German government , and establish lasting good relations in the long run, I would say

afaik Germans in Czechoslovakia were treated decently, I don't see why that shouldn't have been possible to remain the case
