The Independence of East Timor was inevitable after economic crisis in 1998.

However, Greif and Tabellini (2017) may have pushed too far the implications of the contrast between the two social organizations that they
associate with pre-modern China and Europe: the lineage and the corporation respectively. They contrast the Chinese lineage, as an organization based on kinship, with the European corporation. The lineage consists of
families with common descent, which share reciprocal loyalty and obligations to each other, while the corporation is portrayed as a voluntary association between unrelated individuals established to pursue common
interest. In their view the two types of organizations perform similar functions, such as enforcing cooperation among members, providing local public goods, and coordinating interactions with the market or the state.

interesting, so if I marry my viet gf, probably I could make her family members support me on my business adventures. hardcore nepotism. but nepotism is not efficient.
how to always stay at the head of the organization? as a foreigner?

Dutz and Department of health following communist china protocols. Yikes

JUST IN: Valenzuela City confirms 5 more #COVID19 positive cases, out of a second batch of 40 tested Sunday and Monday.

These were PUMs, who should not have been tested based on new DOH protocols, but LGU saw it fit to test them anyway, and came up with disturbing results.

Mayor Rex Gatchalian says ALL 5 cases were asymptomatic, and had already finished 14 day quarantines.

The mayor is now worried there may be silent carriers in the population who are asymptomatic for #COVID19

Isn't the reason they are stalled was because Singapore doesn't want them to join us?

well, why would you?

Most of us like to mock East Timor others feel pity for them.
I think it was a mistake to take East Timor, even East Nusa Tenggara is better than them and they're the poorest province in Indonesia.
Brazil is based though.

Why not? We allowed countries like Laos in. I think it's a good way to help them out too.
